Red Robin Gourmet Burgers and Brews, San Antonio TX

UPDATE: Our server tonight (9/1/23) was "Blessing. " And not to be corny, but she was a true Blessing to us. Perfect service. Spot on with everything. She was polite, professional, and had a great sense of humor. The service here is usually good. But Blessing was definitely a step above. She's someone we'll request in the future.

We had dinner last night and our party was about 11 people. Our server was Paul. We **tried** the best we could to ask for everything we needed at once rather than having him run for things one at a time. At one point though, I thought he was going to say "can you not ask for stuff together and not one by one? " I didn't really think he was going to say it. But if I were him, that would have been going thru MY mind. And I don't have a filter. He was very attentive to us, fries and drinks refilled promptly. Bills split up easily and correctly. Overall he did a great job with us and we were not his only table.

Tonight we had a great family dinner at Red Robin and Josh was our server. Josh made our experience FANTASTIC! He went above and beyond to make our evening wonderful. The little things matter! From the moment we sat down, he got our kids situated with what they needed which made the rest of the dinner smooth sailing! As a parent of 4, we never go out because it usually ends with tears from everyone, but tonight we had a tear free dinner, we (the parents) got to eat, and our kids never pitched fits because of waiting! Josh knows customer service and when we come back I’ll be asking to sit in his section! Thank you for being amazing Josh!

Everything was very satisfying. From the boneless wings, to the mozzarella sticks, & burgers. All for a great price.great atmosphere and awesome service.

If you want a nice place to take your family go here. Josh is the best server in San Antonio that I have seen. I never saw the bottom of my glass and he made sure my one year old was taken care of.

You get what you paid for. I am not a fan of huge, thick burgers so Ibtend to stick with salads here. The grilled chicken salad was nothing spectacular but it was decent. The lettuce seemed like it was not so fresh but it wasn't terrible. My husband gets the same thing everytime we come so he was happy. They weren't suoer busy when we went so we got seated immediately. Our server was friendly without being annoying. She checked on us frequently and made sure our drinks were always filled and brought whatever we needed.

Love love there burgers so worth their price they are huge!

Edit: As a vegetarian and i absolutely love the vegetarian burger here. It is one of the best.

Burgers are getting smaller and the price stayed the same.food lost a bit of quality not sure if they changed patty providers.

Fries tasted old hamburger wasn't made as ordered. Took 4ever to get tea refills server to busy socializing with coworkers

Fries and Onion Rings were great but the burger was dry over cooked and egg was overcooked. Bbq sauce was left off my wife’s burger and she ordered the bbq burger. Service was great!

Bring the grandkids here every year for the start of a new school year and they always love it! Our waiter was attentive and got everything on our order right.

Even though this is a burger place. They have Fish & Chips like I had in my hometown in Michigan.

Its been a while that I was looking to eat a nice good tasting burger. Its way better than your average drive thru restaurants. It was great tasting cheese was melted and the shrooms we nice and tender. I'm looking forward to trying out other meals from the menu.

They lost the good service a couple years ago but now they're back and have great service. Vegetarian and kids friendly options! Beers are cold!

I came with my daughter. She had a birthday reward she wanted to redeem. It was a little busy so we decided to get our food to go. The wait was about 20 minutes, but we had great company with Jason and James. Wonderful guys with great customer service. It is a very inviting atmosphere that makes you want to come back. I would definitely recommend dining in. The food is spectacular. I got the Whiskey River BBQ chicken sandwich and my daughter the Impossible Burger.

Super great and very tasty. Free refill of drinks (does not apply to alcoholic drinks) and side dishes. For example fries or salad. Absolutely worth a visit.

Our waitress was great. Drinks were never empty and she continuously checked on us. Food was perfect!

Good food. Food was very hot when we got it. Our server Josh, table 84, excellent server. Very polite and attentive.

My family and I had dinner at this REDROBIN on 1604 Loop, and let me tell you we were Impressed with the service we received. We had Josh as a waiter and he was very attentive, always had our drinks filled and brought sauces with us asking. It was very refreshing to be waited on and we will definitely come back and ask to be waited on by Josh!

My husband and I came in last night around 7pm. We were seated immediately, but after 20 minutes, nobody came to our table to even take a drink order. During that time, multiple servers walked right past us, and nobody addressed us at all. We got up and left, and not a single person noticed.

This was our last night out before our baby arrives, and we were excited to eat at one of our old "date night" spots that we haven't been to in forever. Unfortunately, we will not be returning.

Went here the other night with my family for dinner and was not impressed with the appearance that the employees displayed. Majority of them did not look professional, a lot of them looked like they had just rolled out bed, were wearing dirty clothes, and unkempt hair I felt like I just walked into a high school cafeteria.
None of the workers had name badges or any way to identify them as Red Robin employees. When our server came to our table I was weirded out a bit and wondered why this random man walked up to us until I figured out that he was our waiter. The dishes and utensils came out dirty was able to request new ones without complaint. It was upsetting to see the counter get lined up with food and not seeing any meals get served for 10+ minutes. I noticed our food was on the line ready to be served for over 5+ minutes before our server brought it to us, was frustrated that our food arrived to our table cold. There also ended up being hair in multiple dishes which was unappetizing to say try least.
I didn't appreciate that as the server passed out our food he named the dishes for my family but when it came to my turn he said, "I don't know what to call this", when I had made a simple substitution to the banzai burger of replacing the beef patty with cod, (taste a lot better than it sounds, and is amazing when it's served hot and fresh and not after it's been left out to turn soggy). His comment made it feel like I had inconvenienced him somehow when he could have simply called it, "Banzai burger" or even said, "Banzai burger, with cod".
