Red Roof Inn Plano

The room was horrible
Strained bed linens. No facial tissue. No hair dryer. Z NO CHAIR or COUCH. Only one night stand. King bed was big, but the 4 pillows were all small and flat and didn't even reach across the bed. Room needs paint and thorough cleaning. Tile grout in the bathroom was black (light Grey by the wall).

I’m staying in room 219 and there is blood splattered all on the back of the bathroom door I called front desk they did nothing. I booked a room 3 days here and no room service at all. I was told I had to call in ask for service so I did so and no Housekeeper has came yet… they don’t have any of the amenities they claim they offer here, No iron, ironing board and I was charged more for a king bed then 2 double beds with my children…. This place is nasty and they don’t care. I want my money back and I have and reward account with these ppl so don’t know why I was charged a extra $15

I never even checked into this place because the manager working at the front desk was so rude. And it looked pretty shabby too.

The room was very cheap, the pictures depicted pretty rooms, but when I arrived the room had a stitch of cigarettes, the shower head looked grimy and full of black mold, the ac unit was so old and broken down it barely push cool air, there were a lot of homeless people out sleeping under the stairs, the outside appearance was hideous, and a lot pot holes on the road and parking spots. Sadly this hotel didn’t even deserve the one star.

Dirty, lots of shady things at this location. The red roof inn in McKinney is way better and they have a working pool. I’ve been to both and immediately was able to see and tell the difference. Red roof in Plano needs to be shut down and have maintenance done, because who ever is in charge there has not be able to properly maintain the property.

I highly don’t recommend anyone to go to this location it’s rundown it’s dirty inside and out, it had roaches, blankets seemed dirty I was very disappointed because the location was perfect but me and my husband had to check out we just couldn’t stay there don’t waste your time and money.

Rooms could be cleaner. Check out is rarely earlier than noon. Sometime they will let you leave at 1.

I honestly wish there was more than 5 stars to give everyone of staff is so friendly and amazing I am here pretty much permanently and they allow my babies with 4 legs to be with me at no extra charge. I am greatful for the safety it makes it easier to sleep at night. Also I love how peaceful it is. And there's a pool and I can't wait to jump in as soon as they are done cleaning it.:)

Inside and out. DIRTY! If I could give zero stars that would be more fitting.

Property is definitely older which, in and of itself is not a bad thing.but nothing has been done to keep it clean!

Mold lined tub, dirty, chipped and stained walls, stained linens, a/c moldy and dusty, roaches, pool had trash floating in it, standing or dripping water has been there so long it had algea growing, trash throughout property, dumpster so full it was overflowing, pets using walkways in front of rooms and by pool to relieve themselves without owners cleaning up behind them, all concrete areas and pavement is filthy (no exaggeration).

It could be such a neat place to stay considering the location.but this Red Roof Inn isn't destined to be that type of place. We checked in and out within minutes!

This location was originally built in 1980, I would be lying if I didn't say that it shows its age. However what the property has that made all the difference is an amazing staff! From the Manager to maintenance to housekeeping, they were all wonderful. I spent multiple months staying at this location, during this time the staff went out of their way to accommodate any request I had, and would even occasionally check on me to see if I needed anything additional. I would definitely stay here again for this reason.

I will give this red roof a 5 star rating simply because I think the management and staff are amazing. John is working really hard to get this property top notch, I can tell. I'm having to reside here indefinitely, but I really like that it is quiet, my fur babies are welcome, and it is monitored by police frequently, I feel safe, and now days with the way people are is a plus. There is not a just perfect hotel/motel out there at an affordable price, but this one is pretty darn good. To all the haters, go to Hilton and pay out the butt for the name.

This is the worst experience I've had it in my hotel history. They are very good at making false statements and accusing you of events that NEVER occurred. I was with 2 friends, which including me mashed 3. The next morning when I was trying to add 1 more night they accused me of having 10 plus people in my room. There's wasnt any traffic going on and out of the room, in fact we never went out of the room once we got inside. Long story, short we were placed on ado not rent list for that occurrence. Absolutey assassin. Bad experience ever. I do not recommend staying here.

It's an older property, but the room was clean and comfortable. All the staff that I dealt with were extremely polite and helpful. Overall a very nice room for the price.

This hotel is dirty. The rooms are poorly lit. No individual microwave or fridge. You gotta go to the reception. The microwave at the reception is dirty as hell. I would never wanna go back to this place.

This place was disgusting, was not properly clean. It had bed bugs, and ROACHES, and me and my family got bit up and had to leave. Do not ignore the reviews please ya’ll, cause my mom did n we got the worst experience and our trip was cut short. Also their pictures do not match the place, they make it seem nice on the site. The place is also very sketchy.

My opinion the rooms needs to be deodorizer after each guest, everything needs to be wiped down and sanitized, trash needs to be cleared off the stairs from outside

Mold in bathroom shower. The ceiling actually collapsed! Bad management as well. Very rude.

Looks from exterior, like it's worn down and they occasionally empty the exterior trash cans. Room is clean but lacked refrigerator and microwave. Apparently more than a few guests, call this home.
