Red Wing - Sugar Land, TX

Visiting from out of state and looking to add another pair of made in USA RedWings to my collection. The lady inside said I should go home and buy shoes there instead of helping me find a pair in this store. Horrible customer service.

Sloppy store. Open shoe boxes left around the store overnight were visible from outside after hours.

Been to plenty of RedWing shops across the US- this is the worst. Spend your money somewhere else like I am. Based on the other reviews she doesn’t care.

Best shoe/boot buying experience I have ever had. We came in on a friday afternoon for some 1178 Redwing's and Brandy helped us and explained how boots should fit for proper break in. I had worn the wrong size for years and am very happy with my new purchase. Highly recommend this store.

The lady at this location made me get one size larger swearing that it helps with posture and back issues. Now each time I wear these boots the heel slips and I get massive blisters. I tried boot socks like she recommended and I still get massive blisters. It's outside the return window and I wasted $225. I don't recommend Red Wing.

Wouldn’t recommend.

Got some $250 Red Wings and wore them once, and they were very uncomfortable on the top arch. Went to return them per the 30 day return policy and was offered a store credit. Apparently a store policy as you can return online purchases and get a refund.

Hopefully stretching the arches makes them more comfortable. Otherwise I have to get $250 of merchandise from this store which is ridiculous.

Buy online where they honor the advertised refund policy.

They don't even know what product they sell I can guarantee you I never bought in that place Again

Red Wing shoes are always quality products but this particular store was sub par in my opinion. The service could not have been less enthusiastic if they tried. I felt I was nothing but an inconvenience and an interruption being the only customer int he store

The shoe I actually wanted, replacements for the ones I own, are discontinued but they still had them on display but not in my size. Absolutely zero effort was spent in checking if another store might have them in my size.

Then they brought out shoes that were way too small, after measuring my feet.not sure on that logic especially for steel toes.

Basically go to any other red wing store.

Walked in ready to purchase iron rangers but upon walking in the employees sat in there chair mean mugging. After a few minute the tone of well I guess I have to do my job ask if they could help me. Then proceeded to provide the worst retail sales experience I've ever had. Needless to say as hyped as I was showing up at the front door. I didn't buy the boots and left the location. Now I'm in a weird rift of do I go buy and support the location in a sale or go online and take the risk of getting the wrong size.

Very disappointed no customer service lady was on the phone the whole time instead of making a sale looks like I am not the only one that has had the same experience lost a customer for life.

BAD service!
The associate was talking on the phone while I came in and keeps talking while I was looking for help.
While I was trying out the shoes she tries to ‘educate’me that the shoe is of my correct size instead of finding a solution for me on feeling uncomfortable.
While talking with her, I was yelled at. I feel offended.
The way I love redwing is of great service and handmade quality. This location does’t deserve the title of ‘Redwing’.
WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS LOCATION.

Horrible customer service by the 'manager" Brady. She refused to oil my boots because they had not been scuffed up yet. This is a service that all Red Wing Locations will do for free and are usually happy to do. WILL NOT be coming back to this location. Also went to purchase some boots and would not honor my company discount that other red wing stores have. Has a very rude and unpleasant demeanor. DO NOT SHOP HERE

I’ve been a fan of redwings for a very long time and it’s always been a wonderful experience. In fact, my colleagues started to switch to the brand. The last time I was at the store in sugar land, I decided to try Irish setter. They look really nice and was from red wings. A couple of days ago I was working in the rain and it was a complete disaster! I was highly embarrassed. Even my co-workers whose boot quality doesn’t stand a chance against red wings we’re surprised. It felt like my feet were swimming in a ocean with boots that were supposed to be waterproof! Could it be the brand or a defect in my boots? I would appreciate feedback from anyone who is familiar with the brand. P. S. It wasn’t a lot of rain.

Red Wings are some of, if not the best boots and shoes made, so the product itself should get 5 stars. But don't go here to this location and expect friendly service. I've been in there several times and the lady (not sure of her name but she was there every time) isn't very friendly at all. You will get much better service at any other location.
