REI, Southlake TX

As always an amazing experience. I, like many people go to various REI stores a d get to experience the differences that each store offers. This store had awesome staff, and plentt of them. Every department was adequately manned and allowed me to ask any questions I had without waiting for them to be free. Josh was teaching a new employee and even while he was training staff he found the time to ensure I was serviced. The store was organized well and the location of each department flowed to the next. The only downside with this location is that their quantity of garage sale items seemed a little much and some of the items were messy and kinda just put in buckets. All in all this store was awesome and just what I needed while waiting for my flight. Thanks again REI, keep up the awesome work!

First time in, Darcey was incredibly helpful and informative. I was looking for bike shorts and appreciate how honest and thorough she was. Very nice and clean store.

Great store. Walked in with a beat up mountain bike and was greeted by a friendly employee named Grant. He walked the bike back, gave it a once over immediately, and let me know what the problems were. Cordial, friendly, knowledgeable and even got me to start a membership. With solid and immediate service like that, absolutely! Went on to grab some extra running gear and had a positive shopping run at REI. Well stocked store + solid staff = return customer.

It was great! We found everything we needed. Asher was so helpful with everything. We couldn't have asked for someone to be more informative and knowledgeable.

Recently purchased a kayak from the website. Didnt quite workout the way I expected and returned.

I wasn't sure what to expect but assumed returning would be a hassle.

I was pleasantly suprised. The staff at REI genuinely wanted to make sure I was happy and took back the kayak. Thanks Tucker!

We love going to REI for our hiking and outdoor gear. The addition of their "garage" used gear has some good deals from time to time.

Done with REI. Other places to shop that carry the same things for less money, oh, and other places are pro-choice, mask optional. Done with these masks now that vaccines are so incredibly easy to get! #dontmaskwithtexas

I've been a huge fan of REI for a while. Then I went to Scheels. And when I came back to REI.not as good. One little change room in the men's section with a lock that doesn't work and some kid employee telling me "it would be really cool if I used the lock. " Kinda ratty in comparison. Employees at REI are good.but it's not Scheels. The employees at Scheels are passionate! Better up your game REI!

As soon as you walk into REI you're greeted with helpful, happy, and heartfelt employees ready to assist you in any way possible. That's not the only thing you're greeted with though. When you step into REI you're transported into a wilderness of high quality products for any of your out door needs. However there is one flaw, and that is that it was understaffed, so help was not always available. I would definitely recommend to friends and family though.

Love this store, they have all of the actual good stuff you would actually use if you're an outdoor person. None of the bs knockoff brands.

Friendly and always knowledgeable. Can be more expensive than other outlets but you get what you pay for. I always feel that I get the value of the price.

I enjoy going to REI and being a member. The employees were very helpful walking me through the various options to help me find the right climbing shoes for my partner and me. Unfortunately they didn't have either of our sizes in stock, but I was able to get hers from REI online and ordered mine straight from the manufacturer. Thank you for all your help REI

REI has very good staff in general, but the experience here was particularly excellent. From detailed guidance on selecting hiking boots, assistance with quickly finding the right tent fory requirements and friendly checkout service, it was just awesome.

My first visit to an REI and it was an outstanding, eye opening experience. Tremendous inventory; knowledgeable, bright, attentive representatives.
I might have been slow getting to the store; but I intend to do a lot of shopping here.
I did not check to look for any pet supplies at the location in South Lake, Texas but I'm going back today.

Great experience today. This differs vastly from the service in Santa Rosa, CA where I was profiled as a shop lifter for browsing while holding a pair of shorts.

While Southlake REI didn’t have what I needed, the staff was friendly and responsive. I guess it pays to not live in an area infested with homeless drug addicts and brainless liberal policy.

Great Recreational Equipment, Very knowledgeable associates (it's a CoOperative organization). Questions answered, advice given and taken. If you are lookin' for Quality Outdoor Gear, it's the place to go. One bit of forewarning.it's pricey. You can check them out on line at REI STORE. The associates won't steer you wrong. And if properly cared for, the Gear Will Last!

If you enjoy being harassed for not wearing a mask this is the place for you! You can keep your over priced clothing and sheep mentality! First and last time we will ever visit this store!

Go to David Ball for backpack fitting, he will make sure you find one that fits. There is a great selection of outdoors gear that is pretty much all high quality

This store is fantastic. The customer service is beyond all expectations with every employee we encountered being both friendly and knowledgeable. The store is well laid out and very clean. We had placed an online order and decided to go inside the store instead of using their convenient curb-side pickup. We have been in other REI locations before, but have been most impressed with this one. We will definitely be back and highly recommend this location to anyone looking for outdoor recreation items.
