I have never felt so rushed and dismissed by a doctor. I was a new patient and had an appointment at 4 pm. I arrived at 3: 38 (I know this because I was trying to beat the gps clock) knowing I was going to have to fill out paperwork. When I got there there was a long line at the front desk to check in. I wasn't even brought back into a room until 4: 50. The medical assistants (one was apparently training) came in and didn't even introduce themselves. The trainee couldn't even put my BP cuff on correctly and definitely gave an inaccurate reading. My BP is always on the low side and she told me it was 130/80. Just not personable at all.

Then we get to the doctor. Dr. Chan comes in, reads a script of questions from me would even looking at me. Asked me what I was there for and completely ignored me. I kept trying to ask questions to clarify and it was like I was a complete bother to her. She just kept trying to rush me out the door. To the point of even telling me "we'll talk about it next time. We've gone over enough today. "

I was in total shock when I heard that. She wrote a note, left it on the counter and told me to take it to check out and schedule another appointment. Again, I'm a new patient. I had no idea where check out was. I found it, walked up to check out, and guess who's behind me bags and all walking out the door? Dr. Chan.wow.

I have never felt more of a paycheck to someone than I did at that moment.

I ask the lady at the check out what the cancellation policy was and she told me I could cancel the day before but if I wanted to wait and call to schedule I could. I told her I would do that because I had never felt so dismissed by a doctor before.

Definitely not coming back. Definitely not giving another insurance check for an appointment that could have been taken care with this appointment.
Definitely not recommending Dr. Chan to anyone.

I’m honestly To the point of wanting to call the clinic manager but I know that won’t do any good.

I've had an IUD inserted 4 times now. This was literally the worst pain I've ever felt. All is well now, so I'm sure it was fine, but my god. The last 3 gynos I had who insterted one offered me spray numbing agents. I always took 8mg of Ibuprofen before anyway and there was a bit of discomfort with the sounding, but with this doc I almost came off the table. She was fast and efficient, but holy hell the pain was bad.

I don't think it was her, personally, but I won't be back unless they offer the numbing spray next time. This tine was awful.

Dr. Chan is very discriminating and does not care for her patients. I’ve waited for over two months now on my results and she has never contacted me with the results. I have called every day to ask for my results and asked to speak to her and was told my lab results got lost. I spoke to clinic manger and have put in a complaint against Dr. Chan. Today, I received a phone call saying Dr. Chan has terminated me from seeing her in the clinic with no reasons. I have still not received my results and have already paid for my service. This is unacceptable! This doctor does not care for her patients health nor does she does proper patient treatment.
