Customer service people really nice and I feel bad they get the brunt of the dissatisfied customers because they have terrible workers picking the trash up. Or should I say Never picking up except when they feel like it.

At least once a month my dumpster is not picked up, and this month the price jumped $23.00 more without notice. Tomorrow I start looking for another trash company.

Worst service in Texas. Need to get them out of Texas. Never pick up on time. Make any excuse not to pick up trash. DON'T waste your money. I live a rural area and dirt road had little water and they haven't pickup my trash 2 weeks and counting.
WORTHLESS.

Excuse after excuse that seems to be the way they run this business. We can't pick up because your drive way is wet or it's to cold, always something. I pull 80,0000 pound semi-trucks into my drive way rain or shine no problems at all.was a good service but it has gone to hell for some reason, would not recommend.

For having to pay $100 a month Republic Services is the worst business to deal with. Never on time, always full of excuses and just don't seem to care!

We've been using Republic for years and haven't had many complaints - until this last month. Our trash hasn't been removed since the last Tuesday in May! It's June 16. We need our trash removed! We have called for weeks and we keep getting the same story: "We'll escalate your case and you should get service today". Keeps not happening. Empty promises.

Wish they could deliver on empty dumpsters like they do on their promises!

Any other good respectable, honest, waste management companies in the Amarillo area? We're sure frustrated and ready to make a change.

Update - they finally came on Saturday June 18th when a friend of ours reached out to the local manager. If they actually come this week on their own i would consider giving them a 2 or 3 star review. We'll see.

2nd update - It's October.they have been back to their normal weekly schedule with us. We've "only" had to reach out to the boss a couple of times since June. But they have responded.

We started service on the 1st of September. Should have known it was going to be bad when I still didn't have a dumpster after the first week. So I call and they deliver a dumpster 3 days later. Now 3 weeks later and numerous calls our dumpster has never been emptied. Everytime I call the assure me my dumpster will be emptied the next day. Nope. Never happened. Canceling this company. I should have believed the bad reviews. Worst experience ever.

On top of the horrible service, the companies employees use handicapped spots as their own personal parking spots. Horrible (and no, that car was not displaying any handicapped placard or plates).

I live in Amarillo and we pay for weekly pickup and we're never late or do partial payments and we get skipped over on pick ups at least 2 times a month and when you call in all you get is we're sorry the truck is not running. I get that they break down.but every time that excuse is not working any more. The month of July 2022 they have skipped over us 3 times. Then they wonder why everyone on my road is complaining. We pay for weekly dumps and we don't get by 2 maybe 3 dumps a month. I would not recommend this company for trash service. Mainly because they are very unreliable for there pickup they give us a credit on our bill but the point is if they don't empty the trash it doesn't matter what it cost there's about 15 of us that go through this on a monthly basis

We used them for residential trash services. It took a month (of which they charged) to get us on their route. Then service was mostly decent until May 2022 when they increased prices by over $25/ month and incidentally stopped picking up, great timing to increase charges significantly and stop servicing. They picked up twice in a 10-week period and only gave me partial credits for missed pickups, but continued to charge the fuel service charges and service charges. Always an excuse. When we mentioned we may have to find other dumpster service, their response was “ok let us know when you get it set up and we’ll come pick up our dumpster”. Haha, completely lacking customer service! They never followed through on what they said they would do (rescheduling missed pickups, call backs, etc). I was set up on automatic payments and when services stopped but Billings and drafts continued I turned it off on their app and removed my card information, they continued to charge my card!

This is what I kind of service you will be receiving for almost $100 dollars a month. I have called for 8 days in a row. The office ladies can’t connect to operations. They just say maybe today. I’m so done with this company

Would go 2-3 weeks without picking up trash and when we canceled they never came to pick up the trash dumpster but we still kept on getting billed.

If you want consistency, great service, and realistic answers for them not doing what they say they are going to do, probably need to keep looking for another business. They have horrible service and you have to remind them to do their job regularly. They bill on time every time. They just don't do the one thing you hired them for very well. The most recent excuse is that they are "just running 7 days behind" on my weekly pick up of trash. I tried explaining that this means they are skipping this week doing the agreed upon job. That isn't behind. That is just skipping the work.

This company does not provide services as stated in their contract. Multiple phone calls and still poor service. Excuses and consistent missed pick up dates are the backbone of this company.
