Republic Texas Tavern, Dallas TX

Me and a friend sat at the bar and had lunch. The bartender/server was friendly and very accommodating. We both had the chicken lettuce wraps mine with no jalapeños. They were delicious. We also had a margarita and cosmo that was great too.

Great variety in the menu. Seasonal feature apps, entrees, desserts, and cocktails. Extensive bar list with rare and allocated offerings. Highly recommend!

Great spot in north Dallas. Great cocktails served by knowledgeable bartenders. Solid menu choices with specials always available as well. Hasn’t ever disappointed in numerous trips.

This place is awesome. Rustic themed restaurant and bar. Great variety of spirits and mixed drinks. Large selection of wines from value wines to premier varietals. We only had appetizers and some amazing bread pudding. Services was best in class.

Service was good. Smoked meat tray app was fine, but not really anything close to real smoky bbq. Cauliflower app was just ok.

Supposedly a great chicken fried steak, many have said best in the D. If that is the case, feel sorry for Dallas. Breading was fine, but the steak was thin and not very large. Both it and the gravy required salt. And why do you have to put the steak on top of the under-cooked (I don’t mind crispy but don’t like almost raw) green beans on top of the semi-ok mashed potatoes? Makes no sense to have to deconstruct your own plate.

Ambiance was just ok. Patio looks out on the parking lot. For the price, really just not worth it.

Great atmosphere, very friendly staff greeted us as we came in the door. We were sat quickly and our server made knowledgeable recommendations for food and drink. The bartender even came over when I asked about what bourbon he used in my drink. The food came out quickly and was hot and delicious. We aren't really bread pudding fans but theirs is amazing. We will definitely be back.

Came back to an old favorite. Moved out of the neighborhood around covid time and just got a chance to come back. Owner and staff are ALWAYS awesome. The food is great but I even like coming for drinks and eating the delicious appetizers for happy hour.

Really enjoyed my night out at Republic Tavern. I have to say hands down one of the best service I have reciprocated in awhile. Kayla helped recommend my meal for the evening. The sea bass that she recommended was cooked to perfection. Fish was flaky, hot, and delicious. It was a great pairing for our drinks for the evening as well. Overall the atmosphere was good but Kayla’s friendly smile and attentiveness really made the visit worth while. Will definitely be stopping in more in the future.

Fantastic shrimp and grits. Nice location and great service. There is a lot on the menu I want to return and try.

My friends and I wanted to get somewhere knew. This places popped up as highly rated, and it didn’t disappoint. The waiter was very attentive and friendly. My friend didn’t care for one of the appetizers — he immediately apologized and said he would ensure it was removed from the bill. The other food was very fresh and yummy. The vibe was very chill so we ended up staying and chit chatting for over 2 hours.

The bacon wrapped meatloaf was tender, moist and paired well with the onion crisps. Dim and relaxed ambiance with a decorative wine cork overhead lighting. Spacious yet romantic seating. Service was excellent. The waiter was efficient and had great time management.

These are the best ribs I've had! The staff was equally amazing and kind. I'd definitely come back!

We had a great time eating here on a late Saturday night. The beer menu and late night drinks are diverse and modestly priced. The food was amazing and well seasoned. We could have picked one of each if we had the time. We will be back.
