The place has just gotten a bit run down to be honest. My stove quit working, so they brought me a new one that must be 15 years old. It was scorched, the burner does not work, the bottom drawer is completely broken and it’s just disgusting looking and dirty, they should be ashamed of themselves for putting that in my apartment.
Too many people here smoke weed and it comes in through air vents so all neighbors have to suffer. And the apartments say, “we can’t prove it is them”. That’s laughable as you can clearly smell it outside of the front door.
The office never returns calls, the manager is in meetings 24/7…. That’s pretty amazing! How can she manage this place if she’s always in meetings. Any time you call, “she is in a meeting”. I have been waiting four days for a returned phone call. It is very rude, I pay my rent on time and get ignored.

Pros: I actually like my neighbors, very friendly and kind.
And, overall, it is very quiet here. That has been nice. Not a lot of noise from neighbors.

End of day: Simply leaving because I do not want to smell weed everyday in my apartment. But, I was given no choice as Lupita said, “we can’t do anything”.
If there could have been a solution, I would have stayed.

Awful experience that lasted two years. Do not move here. Cheap, cheap apartment at lakeside cost. Never met another neighbor in two years that had anything positive to say about the place other than, "at least I can bike the park easily". Try the Oaks at Whiterock. They warned me about this place when I left, I should have listened.

Can they just treat people with courtesy and respect? Is not much what I´m asking for.

Leasing experience was a nightmare thanks to a staff member. The apartment had a lot of stuff that needed to be repaired, and also a really dirty carpets. Then, we had a leak the first week and I had to report the leak during 3 consecutive days until they did something. Now, I don´t have hot water at my apartment.

Reserve at White Rock manager, this apartment is expensive enough to have at least a little bit of empathy from your workers.

I know things cannot be done or repaired when I wish or right away, but courtesy and being nice is free and help when you have an issue going on in an apartment after the worst leasing experience ever.

UPDATE: I am enjoying my stay here, what I am not enjoying is the poor management. Today I have been with no air conditioning since 7pm. I have called several times to the emergency number and nobody answered. 80 degrees right now in my unit at 10pm. I love the apartment and the location is excellent but again, management could be a little bit better. And I already wrote to the manager directly anytime I needed anything. They use to answer but you cannot have a family with no air conditioning and this hot when you have an emergency number.

I guess they will resolve this tomorrow but… who knows?

EDIT: in only 3 months here, I had so many issues that were not address in time by the management. I was 2 days with no AC in June, and they fixed it because I call City of Dallas. And now, a week ago, my neighbor got his apartment flooded and all the water came down to ours. I have humidity odor and water stains on floors and walls. One week after, is still not repaired. They offer a transfer, but, of course, paying deposit again, only 4 days for moving and wait until September if I don’t want to pay for 2 apartments at the same time (new one and the one I’m already in) and this issue it wasn’t my fault at all. But they are not helpful and they don’t care about you at all. Counting the days to March so I would be able to move out of here and don’t see these people anymore. Worst management ever. Good luck with them.

Management is rude and terrible outdated leasing process and experience. Canceled my application due to stress of it not being worth it.

DO NOT RENT HERE! DO NOT RENT HERE! Management and the whole entire staff is rude and do not care about any requests you make. I moved in June and we had plenty of issues from roaches to a water leak. I sent multiple requests in for the water leak and had to call very angry for them to come out. They only changed the shower head and said it was fixed. Which it was not because there was a huge water stain in the kitchen ceiling and it kept getting bigger and bigger. They came out made a hole in the kitchen and said they would come back to fix the water leak and ceiling - NEVER DID THEY COME OUT! I would call and call and all they would say was “we have other issues to deal with like fixing the a/c. ” Mind you I’m pregnant and due to all the stress and anger they put me through I had to be on bed rest for the rest of my pregnancy and I almost lost my baby. My family had live since June with a hole in the ceiling. We tried our best to cover the hole with a cardboard but due to the water it would not stay up. Due to that hole in the ceiling we had more roaches, lizards and rats. They never came to fix the issue. I called and could not speak with a manager because Jennifer had left and the new manager was always in meetings. I spoke to Lupita and told her about the issue and she said “it’s not in the contract to fix anything. ” Jordyn, Lupita and David are the worst to deal with. DO NOT RENT HERE UNLESS YOU WANT LIVE WITH A HUGE HOLE IN THE CEILING FOR MONTHS AND RATS, ROACHES AND LIZARDS IN YOUR HOME. Not once did we ever receive an apology just Jordyn calling me dillusional and Lupita rudeness and saying “she does not care”! NEVER RENT HERE AT THE RESERVES NOR AT THE SISTER APTS TRAILS!

Terrible experience a month or two into moving had something stolen off my balcony.the issue was just swept under the rug as if it was no big deal, was told in order for them to review video footage they would need a police report sent the police report nothing was never done nor did they ever retrieve the footage.every time I call the office JORDIN ALWAYS answers the phone when I ask to speak to the property manager oh she is in meeting I have asked several Times to speak to manager jordin always says she is meeting there has never been a time were I have called and ever spoke to a manager.for the amount of money I pay I at least would like to have update appliances these apartments are extremely outdated I will not be renewing my lease, do yourself a favor and rent else where

The amenities are pleasant but there’s no point of paying such high rent when their system is always “down” and can’t ever access the gym that “comes with the rent”. We returned our gym fob since it stopped working and still haven’t been able to get a replacement after MONTHS. So unprofessional….
