DO NOT BE FOOLED BY THE "MARRIOTT" ON THIS BUILDING! THIS HOTEL SHOULD BE CLOSED! AND MARRIOTT SHOULD BE ASHAMED TO HAVE THEIR NAME ASSOCIATED WITH THIS LOCATION! IT IS MISLEADING TO ADVERTISE THIS LOCATION AS A MARRIOTT.

First room had a malfunctioning AC unit with a large section of the bedroom carpet wet. Moved to another room and only a handicap room was available. Bed had been slept in and there was hair and disheveled sheets. Front desk refused to remedy it.

During the 10 day stay, the room was only serviced a single time despite repeatedly asking for service and the front desk agreeing to service every other day. Had to repeatedly ask for towels, toilet paper, and kitchen items. Dishwasher was broken and never fixed.

It also appears from the checkout receipt that my Bonvoy number was removed from the stay so that I will have to manually ask for points through customer service.

Breakfast was never served on time so I was never able to eat there on my way out.

Overall a thoroughly awful stay from a VERY poorly run and managed location

Cancelled room 2 hours before check-in. I was left scrambling on a plane to find an alternative room.

DO NOT stay at this Residence Inn.

We live out of town but booked a 30 day extended stay for a family member during August 2023.

Within the first week, they had to change rooms because the air conditioner did not work. The second room that they were moved to had roaches and crickets and they did not come to exterminate even after repeated requests.

They finally moved them from the roach-infested room because their room flooded from the toilet overflowing.
Also, their pool is closed and the laundry room had no working machines. The family had to go outside of the hotel to wash their clothes.

At the time of booking, we were told that payment would be charged at the end of the stay. We were billed weekly instead and each time we were overcharged. When I asked for a copy of their billing policy stating that they bill weekly, the manager never sent the email and avoided every call for over two weeks. Every time we called and spoke to a team member, they came up with different reasons as to why we were being overcharged.

On check out day when we finally reached the manager, he could not explain the overcharges in the billing. At that point he stated that they had no written policy to provide.
We are very disappointed with the condition of the rooms and the lack of professionalism from the manager.

As a Marriott Bonvoy Ambassador, now Titanium Elite member, Marriott, please do better.

Not at all impressed just felt eerie and icky. I loved the staff greeting it just the pics overly exaggerated the reality of the rooms. I think marriott would be highly disapproved. I paid 72 and felt like a 45 dollar room. Tvs kept disconnecting from internet and room started study n hot all night. The curtains were ripped but bathroom was nice. Shower looked old but sinks updated

The only reason it's 1 star is - stars not allowed.
I made a reservation early Tuesday for a 2-bedroom suite 1 night stay for Wednesday night.
Timeline:
2: 30 Wednesday arrived at Residence Inn and were told our room would be available in about 30 min. Check in 3PM (No problem)
3: 15 No update from desk but when I approached, I was told they were cleaning the room. (No problem)
3: 25 Front desk heard me call another hotel asking for availability - She said the room will be available in 5 minutes. (No Problem)
3: 45 Co-worker approached the desk. They were told “looking for a manager. ” We asked what is the issue. We were told the room did not meet inspection and we asked OK so what’s going on. We were told looking for manager and had call in to GM. (No solutions offered absolutely nothing)
3: 45 I called Springhill Suites – I asked for a 2–bedroom suite; not available but offered connecting room. We left Residence Inn and by 4pm we were checked in and in our rooms at Springhill Suites!

The front desk never approached us in 1.5 hrs.we were sitting within 20 ft. Never once offered solutions. Were never rude, but never helpful or friendly. This was my bad, for not reading reviews. If you decide you need a room in this area of Lewisville. DO NOT STAY HERE. Springhill Suites is also owned by Marriot.

Worst place I've stayed in period. Air-conditioning didn't work in the room dirty dishes dirty microwave stains on the mattress pillows smell horrible. Just shut the whole place down. Ants crawling biting residents they were asking me did I experience the same as them. Pool dirty as well. They don't care about cleaning at all. The condition is unbelievable. Shame on everyone that's a part of keeping this place the way it is they should be fired the manager on down. They all are just there to get a check.

The front desk staff was very uninterested in working here. She was not welcoming at all. Room is somewhat rundown, however the appliances look neat. We would not be coming here again. The drawer won't close, Accidently hit a family member and caused injury. No one around to fix it either.

Filthy is the only word that describes this place! Our room looked like it had not been cleaned. The bed sheets had hair all over it! We asked for new sheets, pillow cases, & towels. Later we found that the sink was clogged and the garbage disposal was broken. Dust on the AC vents, table, and lamp. Carpet is disgusting as well.

I don’t think anyone’s cleaned that room in a while. So gross! So disappointed in management. Never once saw house keeping in hallway.

It's probably one of the worst mariots I have been to. Run down place, front desk staff was friendly, but Morning staff for breakfast was rude. Sausage's cooked was still cold and served, We even let the staff know, and He was like oh I know. And walked away. No coffee creamers or cups or hot coffee. This place needs a turnover big time, I dont even know if management exists here. The door is broken and doesn't even close all the way. Stain in the main hallway is from the leaking ceiling that I got drippee on walking past it. TV in the bedroom doesn't work, notified staff when I got to the room until now still not fixed. For 115 bucks is not worth it, and being a platinum Mariot member, I would have expected better customer service, especially if we are here for 4 days.

The housekeeping and maintenance is horrible. Bathroom toilets with remnants of previous occupants, kitchenettes floor unswept, sink clogged with garbage floating out due to broken garbage disposal, lightbulbs missing. We asked to change rooms and were accommodated only to find the same conditions again. Couldn’t stay there. Hotel front desk was apologetic and accommodating. So no complaints there. But the place is a dump! Too many alternatives in the area to stay there.

I want my money back, I want to re do my vacation. This place literally ruined our entire vacation. Should have stuck with Hampton inn.

Overall, no good night's sleep and poor service (no/delayed service literally).

Even the Morning breakfast was one of the worst we have had in a while. We went there at 6: 35 am, and there was no breakfast. This time the front desk lady was like, "the breakfast guy isn't here yet", and that's that! She expected me to turn back and go to my room.

Finally when the breakfast was set up:
No waffles batter in the container, they said their waffle iron has been broke for a while. Sooo. Eat donuts. Ok, the donuts were literally from Walmart and that too the ones on clearance (stale, many days old, see picture).

Rude and unavailable front desk staff. Not family friendly.
The place is rundown and dirty.
We had multiple issue with our room and we needed some service.
No one was at service at front desk. Had to call multiple times, and no one answered. Physically went to front desk, and no one was there. Ringed the bell, and kept haying hello/holla, then the lady came exactly 13 minutes after.

Our room flooded during the night. Couldn't sleep.

The pool water needs to be cleaned. It's not being maintained. Somebody was sweeping and they never picked up the dirt left on the floor, the skimmers of the pool has some debry.

I checked into the. Residence Inn, lewisville for a work related trip. Upon entering I was greeted with a smile and given all the information that I needed to make my stay as pleasant as possible. I was also informed that if I had any other needs or questions to not hesitate in asking any of the staff for help.

Although the entire staff was helpful, one employee definitely stood out in my mind. Jordan was extremely helpful and went above and beyond in making sure that all my needs and wants were satisfied. Not only will I come back and stay here again but I will recommend this location to my friends and family.
