Resort Nail Spa of Midlothian

I have been a customer for a few years now and always make my next appointment before leaving. Alice is my nail tech and she is awesome, so careful and pays attention to detail. Tim and Ivy are equally awesome too! Tim and Alice do pedicures for my husband and I and my husband ensures we are next visit scheduled before we leave as well. (took him a long time to convince to come in for a pedicure and now he’s hooked).

Atmosphere is beautiful, lots of stations, assorted drink menu, and lots of tvs too.

Some techs slow & rough when filing my nails. NOT Tim, Kim, Hailey & Kathy. Any of them are good!

Nail places to me are like computer stores to tech-illiterate people, so this is my first time at a nail salon in quite a while (4+ years). I walk in clueless and I sit there clueless the entire time. Luckily this place has a little "menu" when you walk in and you just circle what you want. I hate guessing, so this is perfect. I just wish there was prices on everything, that'd help with the sticker shock at the end of the service. For someone who never gets this kinda stuff done on a weekly/monthly basis, it always surprises me how expensive it is.

BUT, it's well worth it! The 2 ladies that were doing my feet and nails were nice, courteous, and thorough. It took about 1.5 hours from start to finish, a perfect time for the lotions and stuff to really sink in and do it's thing to your skin. The massages were perfect, my nails came out wonderful, and I just feel so much better walking out. Like I said, they really took their time, and I gave them a 30% tip for it.

For people who get overstimulated easily, all the chairs and things can get overwhelming, and especially when someone was working on your feet and another on your hands at the same time! I was able to manage but if you have sensory overload problems maybe ask for your hands/feet to be done separately.

Overall I would definitely recommend. There are ton of chairs so I didn't have to wait at all, but it was also a Tuesday morning at 10am, so YMMV

I love my nail tech Crystal! She does amazing work on my nails every time.
I feel like the pedicures are rushed and the manager is always walking around telling them to hurry. It’s never as relaxing as it should be and for the price they charge, it should be very relaxing.

Love the atmosphere here, everyone is super super nice and genuine. It doesn’t matter about the price it matters about how professional they are with what they do. I highly recommend this place! I always have Jenny do my toes. She’s amazing and such a sweetheart.

Pros: this place is MASSIVE and able to accommodate lots of clients at the same time! The ambience is nice and does help you feel like you are at a tropical resort, and everything seemed clean. Their polish and dip selection is huge.

Cons: I ended up waiting 45 minutes to be seen for my appointment time: (once I was seen my whole appointment seemed rushed. My tech seemed really put out by me and like she flew through my manicure as fast as possible, she just wanted me in and out of that chair as fast as she possibly could. When I asked her to cut my nails slightly shorter she seemed inconvenienced by me. Not a great vibe as a customer.

Absolutely recommend! The best pedicure I’ve ever got was from Anna and it was amazing. Actually massaged and did what everyone else doesn’t. Well worth every penny!

Ask for Kaithlyn or Tim they will take such good care of you! They treated my mom and I so amazingly, they made it a great experience for us. It was the best massage, and pedicures i’ve ever had. Had me falling asleep!

I normally go there and they do a pretty good job. However the last 4 or 5 times I've gone they've done real janky work. I tell them they are too long and they look at me like I'm crazy. Then half my nails don't make it through the week because surprise! They are TO LONG! I'm the one wearing them. I'm the one paying for them. I know what I want. I'll be looking for someone who does a good job and who listens to me. Because my fingers hurt and it's only been 2 weeks now!

Please do not get waxed at this location! Coming from out of state and using this place for convenience was a bad choice. Jenny was her name and I noticed that she continued to use the same dipping stick in the wax. There's no telling how many people she's done that with. Completely unsanitary. Back to The Pretty Kitty I go. Very Unsanitary! Visited 4/18/2023.

I love this place, the men and women here have taken care of me anytime I go in, i always make sure and tip them well because they always do such a good job! Highly recommend and totally believe these beautiful people have earned a big raise or maybe even a lovely weekend away everyone here is just amazing! I love this place:)

I have never been to Resort Nail and spa. I actually found myself at Lucky Nails before going to resort nails bc it’s closer to my house (this is lucky nail experience and how I ended up at resort nails.towards the end is resort experience) and they were not packed but I sat there forever didn’t even look at colors and people kept getting up when they had someone sitting right in front of them. More than 3 times. I got up and left. I came into resort checked in and immediately sat down and was given colors to look at. About 10 mins later TIM came and did my nails! REQUEST TIM HE IS THE BEST! He was so gentle and friendly! I will continue to go back to tim!

Nice environment, friendly staff, plenty of complimentary drink options and very clean! Convenient location next to Kroger off of 287

I have been coming here for a few years. Jean is always my nail tech, and I would recommend her to everyone. I alternate between Tony and Tim for my pedicures. All of them are super sweet and take good care of their customers.
