Being from New York I wanted to experience giving of my time supporting this organization to be outdoors. My connection to horses and their staff has been a magical experience. Sharon is a gift to the organization.
Love the staff at RR. My recent visit was to begin the "Path to Ride" program that they have started. The one-on-one instruction with Sarah, their equine specialist, who is not only extremely knowledgeable but was able to get me to open up for conversation. I have severe PTSD and being in groups or around unfamiliar people can quickly send my mind into overdrive and my flight or fight response kicks in. Sarah was both friendly and a good listener, before I knew it an hour and a half had passed.
It was an overall great experience. Surprisingly easy to find despite being in the country! I am one to get lost often but I didn't have an issue finding RR. Great people and a great time.
My daughter and I have been part of the RR family for about 3.5 years. What an amazing bunch of people doing incredible work for our veterans.
If you haven’t…you must go out and visit and see what a great facility this is.
Wonderful place and excellent staff. You can heal quickly and at the same time heal the horses there. Your work is instantly appreciated through the use of your hands and through the horses you can feel the love.
