This place is booming! Gracious band and bar members welcoming guests in from off the streets. Very inclusive and friendly. We stopped by on a freezing Saturday night and the bar was packed. Had some people sitting on the floor and a crowd was formed huddling by the door - that’s how great their guest jazz bands are! Would definitely recommend a visit if you’re in there area - even just to swing by and listen to music.

Great atmosphere and kind staff. Very small place so please come early or have patience. Good music and drinks as well.

Great intimate place for live music; New Orleans Brass band, jazz, quartet, drum hip hop with a good heavy pour from the bartenders.

Great music and great fun. We went for New Years Eve and our experience couldn't have been better. Staff was friendly, didn't have to wait forever to get a drink and the live music was amazing. Definitely an experience to remember.

There's amazing music, good food, great service on Thursday nights. I highly recommend coming a little earlier than any music guest set because seating is limited. The doors are always open so you can sit outside if you have a large group this is actually the best option. Though many guests do smoke on the front patio. So be mindful of that if your group is not comfortable with smoking. The drink selection for liquor particularly is good. There are plenty of shops close by that are eclectic and a fun way to make a day or night out of any visit to Revelers. Come hungry because the food is great! I believe they add $6 to your tab and gratuity when there is live music.

I have always enjoyed the music here but the tipping/cover charge situation is honestly very confusing unlike other establishments in the city. Other places usually have a person at the door collecting the cover as you walk in. But here, there is only a small sign at the door that often gets overlooked when it's crowded which says $6 music fee. So unless you see the sign, it is easy to assume that there is no cover to come in and you can tip the band at your leisure since the band also has a cash tip jar. The last time I was here, a bartender was walking around to everyone individually in the audience to ask for the $6 music fee during the performance. How does the bartender keep track of who left a cash tip in the tip jar and who hasn't? I am also a musician so I find it very disruptive to the audience enjoying the performance, and highly disrespectful to the musicians performing when someone is slyly walking around asking for a music fee DURING a performance. In my opinion, it is more professional to be upfront with customers AT THE DOOR and collect the music fee as they walk in rather than disrupt the performance to request music fees or add additional costs on the closing tab without informing the customer first.

We went there to enjoy the music, it was a great band playing, but the bartender and waiters started having attitude and were so rude and ugly to us for absolutely no reason! Good music to enjoy if they train people who work for them to know respect and behave with their costumers!

Went here on Saturday, they charged my credit card about twice what my tab was, then attempted to charge it again today. I have called multiple times to talk to them, but they don’t answer their phone, nor do they have a voicemail box. I also emailed and no response to that either. I will update this review if they contact me but as it is AVOID! This is negligent and frankly shameful behavior.

I really want to give this place 5 stars and it started out that way when we first sat down with our lovely bartender who first served us. She was friendly, fun and inviting. Things went south as soon as two other bartenders showed up and acted as though we were a bother and loathsome. I’m not sure how someone in the service industry expects to be treated in turn but I know that if you treat my wife in particular nicely and give her good to excellent service, she will reward that service beyond your expectations. She worked in the industry in many capacities and still has the connections to make or break someone’s career. So always, always be careful as to how you treat your customers…. And when I ask why you are throwing attitude at me, I am asking for a reason. I promise it was a hint. Our bill was $80 and she still left the other bartender a $100 tip. Why? Because that is who she is and she would have done the same for you. I sure hope you didn’t reap any of that reward, because your service and treatment on your customers was despicable. You have no business dealing with the general public.
This place has plenty of potential and as stated previously, we were having plenty of fun until these two bartenders arrived and made it beyond uncomfortable and awkward for us. Unfortunate situation for all because we got up and left and took our money elsewhere.

Great place! The vibes are always on point! The staff is very nice and helpful! The music is always top notch. They book different bands throughout the week and the “home” band is amazing. Favorite place to drink. Shout out to Jacob, Kemi and the rest of the staff.

Bishop's Art District (Revelers Hall for live Music) and Deep Ellum are some of the best places to experience the musical, cultural, and historical aspects of Dallas.

One of my favorite spots in Dallas to sneak away for a delicious drinks and great music. The space is cozy and inviting and the host team truly understands how to provide great service! My go to fave is a whiskey sour and they do it best!

Seeing two toddlers wandering into this place and boogeing with joy sums this place up for me. A bastion of local Dallas Jazz scene. One of the few reasons I come to visit Dallas. Every night has been memorable for me here.

I love this place. It has the feel of a real New Orleans bar with great music.
The drinks are always good, the flat bread with the goat cheese and arugula is delicious, and the people are very nice.

This place has slowly become my favorite place to go in Dallas. The music is always amazing. The drinks are awesome, and some of the best bartenders I’ve ever met. If you ever are in the bishop arts area you would be making a huge mistake by not stopping in.
