Love this place so much. The three cup chicken, lo mein, and Taiwanese pancake are a must. Very good portions for the price and fantastic flavor.

The food here is always delicious. I've never had a bad experience in my entire time ordering from here. Great portions, you can get 3-4 meals out of one, and that makes the price worth it! Great food, great service, amazing chefs. One of my favorite items are their potstickers steamed. I can't get enough of them. I definitely recommend this place if you're craving Chinese food.

I was a guest from out of town and ordered some food from GrubHub. GrubHub messed up the order but rice bowl staff was extremely nice and fixed everything. Really good people really good food. I got a lot for the money. Thank you Rice Bowl.

They were very helpful in making my meal Gluten-free. The food was delicious! They could be much more generous with their spicy mustard.

Looks like I review Rice Bowl Cafe every 3 years! Not much has changed since my last review. Tried a whole bunch of other items and all have been good. I really would rate RBC as top tier for the Austin area. All foods are really fresh and you can tell they use good ingredients.

The 3 cup chicken is truly special. This General Tso's chicken is better than all the other generals chicken. The soups are good. The chicken with garlic sauce has Szechuan peppers which will numb your mouth. Mongolian beef from here is one of my favorites. Good Fried rice and orders come with fried wonton strips, even when the food is delivered. The portions are good too!

Highly recommended!

Prices match the volume and quality of food. Everything was absolutely delicious and more than we could finish.
Service was fantastic. The ladies working were kind and quick to take care of us.
The food did take a little bit to come out but it tasted like they had just cooked it fresh so no complaints about that.

Service and food are always amazing! This used to be my go to place when I lived in north Austin and I’m yet to find a place that compares. Highly recommend.

I went with my family on a Sunday afternoon. The restaurant was fairly empty, so we were seated very quickly. The waitress quickly came over and asked us for drinks and brought over some fried wonton strips and sauces as an appetizer. We ordered Kung Pao Tofu, Green beans, Orange Chicken, Vegetables lo mwin, and Szechuan chicken. The food came out within about 10 minutes. And we were surprised at how large the portions were. Everything came out piping hot and the tastes were amazing. Definitely will order Green beans and Kung Puo Tofu again. Kids loved the orange chicken. Even though everyone ate to beyond full, we still had plenty of food left over for 2 more meals at home!

The price per entree was very reasonable at an average of about $12 per item.

We will be back and look forward to ordering from Rice Bowl Cafe during winter!

Picked up a togo order from here & out was the best Chinese food I have found in the area. Great flavor and good-sized portions. We will definitely be going there again.

Came in from out of town and was not disappointed. Service was fantastic and food was excellent with big portions. Only complaint is no changing table in women’s restroom. Had to change my chunky baby on bathroom sink which was very uncomfortable for the baby. But I will still come again, the food was that good.

This is a little slice of heaven. The food is always fresh and delicious. We normally do take out. However, the times that we have dined in have been wonderful. Very clean environment and attentive staff.

This is a restaurant owned and staffed by Taiwanese. That's important because a Taiwanese specialty is spicy beef noodle soup, which is made from hand-made noodles because you can see the inconsistency in some of the strands. I've taken some non-Asian folks here for a big, big lunch and we went overboard the order. So much that I can't list all the dishes. Besides the hard-to-find (correctly made) soup, they also offer some other hard to find items not found in most Chinese restaurants: Mu Shu pork and Chinese green beans. Also recently discovered the salt and pepper trio, which is breaded and fried shrimp, fish filet and squid which is then pan fried with hot peppers and salt. They have a really big menu, which is not always the best idea. However, they haven't disappointed with any of the varied dishes tried so far, which I estimate to be about 15+ unique dishes.
