Rice Pot Express, Cross Roads TX

I hate to do this but.we just ordered from here & the white rice was sour, old, smelled like an arm pit! We didn't even notice until after we ate it. I pray my family and I doesn't get sick we have some white rice left and that's when we smelled the horrible sent while putting it away. I notice it a little while eating but I thought I wasn't sure where it was coming from.

We called & the lady apologized & said that the rice was old & she was sorry but, we will NEVER order from here again! The egg rolls are now frozen, not fresh like they use to be! This place should be closed asap!

We placed a $70 order, food, and tip, and had it delivered. The quality of the food has deteriorated tremendously. I called to ask why all the changes, and and I told them that their food was not good. They were angry, and refused to speak. I will maybe order again, but I will pick it up so we can look at it first. You could tell when we opened it that it was different.

Received a brochure in the mail regarding their lunch special, so I went in with the brochure that I received and was told that it is 10 years old. Didn’t make much sense, considering it was post dated that same day, and they had hundreds of them in their store.

Clearly wrote down special instructions an was not follow and they did not want to fix the problem

Ok so I have their menu I picked up on my previous order (Hugh stack of them on counter) called them and ordered. When I picked up and was ready to pay I noticed the prices were different. So I questioned it the cashier said it was the lunch prices but clearly next to lunch it said dinner too as I pointed to that he knew I was right so the older woman came up and ask how may I help you? I explained to her that she was false advertising, she pointed to the menu on the wall that had changed hand written prices. Her response was prices have been changed nice Covid and they keep fliers for pictures. I told her I will not be returning and her reaction was that she didn’t care.

Great staff. Always remembers me when I come in. Food is always cooked right and I've never had an issue with an order. Recommend the number 11, Bell Peppered Steak.

The best chicken fried rice and spring rolls from anywhere ever. The food is always fresh and it’s never a long wait.

I always do carry out like most people but this place is my favorite Asian food in the area. Service is fast and the food is always so Delicious! Prices are fair for the amount of food you get.

Had General Tso' Chicken. The right amount of spiciness and delicious.

I’ve had this place delivered multiple times and it’s been decent, HOWEVER, last night we did general Tso chicken and chicken lo mein (this one was problematic). The other parts of the meal were fine but the chicken in the lo mein… it was disgusting! Tasted rancid like it had been sitting on the floor for hours! Not sure if it was because of the time of night, either way, people shouldn’t gag and spit out chicken!

Needs to shut down! Lady was extremely rude all she kept saying was food fresh and nothing was fresh, wanted me to order in a rush without looking a menu options she was very so pushy.chicken was like rubber I won’t be back there again

The lady couldn't understand me I speak proper clear English. She is the one that had the language barrier. I'm from up north. My accent is as proper as it gets. I just think they didn't want to deliver. Should've said that instead of giving bad customer service.

Lady at the front counter was very nice. Food was super fresh and even let me get my sauce on the side. Great service!

Ordered food from this place and up on getting it, I find broken glass and metal shavings in my food. I ordered the orange peel beef. On top of that, I called and the y said I couldn't get my money back and then said I was just calling to complain, and then hung up on me. Will not order from them again.

The few things they do well are good, the rest isn't worth the money. If you're a fan of American fried classics like orange chicken or crab Rangoons, it's usually pretty well made. If you want anything else, like the curry or Mongolian beef, you're in for a watery disappointment.

Terrible! Glass pieces and metal pieces in the food. Dry chicken and old broccoli. This is the crossroads location and don't try to call them to let them know, they'll blame the delivery company and hang up on you. Will not ever order from them again.

DONT ORDER FROM HERE! Should have listened to reviews! Food was subpar but I placed an order for 120$ and this is what service I get…… 2 orders of sugar biscuits and delivered 1 and 2 orders of sweet and sour chicken and they left out the SAUCE? All other food was subpar. When I called she said sorry were to busy to bring out the sauce and biscuits. Never again!
