Rice's Fried Chicken & Seafood reviews
16 Great food for an even greater price. Been going since 1997
Updated December 2021
Still a great place wanted to rate it 5 stars again can't Express how good it is.
Good place.
Been here to pick up lunch a few times.
Chicken wings & fried rice.
Fried fish & fried rice.
No complaints.
Great prices & large portions.
I called ahead and picked up my order to go each time.
First time there for me and my daughters and we loved it and remind me so much of Jimmy Chan but in another Hood south
Do not eat here! My mom is battling cancer and is very fragile and got horrible food poisoning from this place. She almost ended up in the hospital.
It's OK. I had the beef and broccoli and was surprised at the large slices of onion and chunks of carrot. The sauce for the beef and broccoli seemed very thin and runny versus all other brief and broccoli i have had over the years at other restaurants. I will add that it seemed that at least 1/2 of the weight was the rice. The restaurant signage says fried chicken by the menu mostly seemed like a Chinese restaurant that happened to carry fried chicken.
GREAT! Food. Vegetable Fried Rice with No EGGS, large pieces of breaded fish, excellent tasty chicken wings. Been visiting this place for about 20 year's, currently only pick-up.
I stopped ordering fried wings everywhere due to pigeon size wings.i ordered 6 piece and rice today. I only ate 3 they are huge! You get the whole wing! Not fried buffalo wings like everywhere else.
Prices are great but the fried chicken is best described as overcooked, and doesn't compare to what it used to be. I have tried it twice recently with the same result.disappointed. I can't speak for other food Choices.
Love this place. Never had a bad experience! Just one plate feeds my dad and I! And still have left overs for the next day!
Went to get small shrimp lo mein and 3 piece fish with shrimp fried rice and 5 chicke drumsticks
Grossest thing was the lo mein the thing had 3 yes just 3 shrimp in it and tons of cabbage. I changed it to another plate maybe shrimp is hiding no 3 freaking small shrimp
No flavor at all, 2 carrots and found lots of those little corns. I was warned the place was nasty not like before but lets give it a chance. No way the fish with shrimp fried rice tasted like it was made days ago and where the hell is the shrimp?
Now the fried chicken was ok. No reason to complain they wont exchange or fix it. Just never go there again. Food in garbage.
When im in Houston.a great place to stop by.i love the wings. An fish so good. Staff away look sad.an look like they hate the job.they need a happy staff.to go with the amazing food.the cook is what makes me come back.not the front.but great wings
We ordered the General Joes chicken. I found a strand of a really thick hair that wasnt human. My son also found one in his food same order. I cant help but think my so called chicken was even chicken. OMG yuck! It was like a very mature hair from a rodent or something like that. I m sorry but I will never ever eat at this place ever again.
Nice people there great food does not run straight through you very nice and thoughtful people my sister got broke down in their parking lot and they allowed her to wait until I showed you my
Order anything but the chicken. It’s always stale. I love the general but it’s always stale. I kept giving them a chance but still the same. Disappointed.
Good food ; good price but there is need make the spicy oil back and the girls helping need to pay more attention on orders to go
I arrived at 12pm for lunch the staff was courteous and quick to take my order. The best chicken and seafood in all of southeast Houston. No need to go anywhere else best fried chicken and seafood ever?
