Absolutely loved this place the moment we were greeted by Brenda at the front. She got us seated at a prime spot and just hosted us so sweetly.

Our server got to us shortly after, EXCELLENT customer service from Michael! From how he interacted with us to his recommendations - just the best! We stacked our dishes and when he cleared the table, he said "appreciate you stacking this for me, " let me tell you this is think I usually do, LOL, but nobody has acknowledged that!

The food was exquisite - we enjoyed the Sunday brunch menu, but already planning to come back and work our way through the full menu another time. Will bring out of town guests here for sure. What an amazing place!

This was my first time there. Sebastián was excellent as our server. The food is amazing! I'll definitely have to come back. Reservations are a must. I'll remember next time.

My friend and I decided to visit on our last night of visiting Texas. Our server Micheal was very attentive, he was quick to get us drinks and food. The food is amazing! Will definitely come back again, when I visit Texas again!

My dear friend & I were looking so forward to having a wonderful lunch with wine to catch up. Our food was great as always but our server was the WORST!
Kayla, our server, checked on us 1 time, we had to ask another gentleman for another glass of wine when she came back with the wine she didn’t even ask if I wanted another glass, at that point we were ready to leave & again had to ask someone else for our check. Kayla came to close us out & that is when we told her how bad our service was. She became very defensive & she said “I didn’t finish my sentence”. Kayla needs to learn how to work at a high end restaurant! Not so sure we will ever come back!

A great space tucked away upstairs in Boerme. Menu was great with lots of options for everyone such as pizza, salads, sushi, sandwiches and wraps. Prices were great considering the high quality of the food. We customised a mushroom pizza- it was a perfect size to serve two people, crust was delicious and they were generous with toppings (wish there had been more tomato sauce but that’s a minor suggestion). Soup of the day was also excellent as was kale and spinach salad. Will definitely be back!

100% Do Not Recommend! Not family friendly whatsoever! Bartender was very rude and told our kids to shut up and manager and owner could care less! Food sat under lamps and came out terrible, it was Saturday and they weren't even that busy, but acted like it was crowded and made excuse after excuse. Owner did nothing but ask us if we were from Boerne as though it mattered, this place is nasty.

This is the second and last time I ever go to this establishment, we were seated and decided to order an appetizer and dinner, our main course arrived 20 minutes later and our appetizer was nowhere to be found. Then the server approached and said since the appetizer was late they would get us a round of drinks. Once the bill arrived I was charged the appetizer and the drinks that they told us they would take care of because of the appetizer mistake! The server said he forgot to comp it and that he had already charged me and did nothing to fix it and didn’t even apologize. The silence was awful when I received my check back, how could they not refund me and charge the card again? It was their problem to solve and I was still charged for it? Prior to the dinner I had made a reservation online and called the restaurant since I was celebrating a birthday and asked if they do anything special for those occasions. I was told that they would bring out a pound cake with a candle at the end of my dinner and nothing was prepared or planned for that at the end of dinner. I ended up asking for the dessert menu and we ordered the “promised” pound cake, it was so dry and had old wet strawberries. Honestly I haven’t had this type careless of service in a while. Disappointed the first time and tried to give it a second chance but honestly my $170 dollar check was not worth it at all. Would not recommend if you’re into good service and quality food.

Incredible time at a business holiday party. Great food, drinks, and service! Can't wait to go back for leisure time!

Everything about our visit was awful. We were rushed from the second we arrived. Our biggest issue by far was the female bartend who just hates life. Yelled shut up at to a 7 year old for saying Merry Christmas, shooed other people in our party away from the bar. The manager, who listened to us, was extremely dismissive. The pad Thai noodles were over cooked, but the flavor was alright. As we were leaving the owner (found out later) was laughing at the entire situation and said "I don't care at all". Great place if you are looking for unwelcoming atmosphere for customers, especially families.

Went in expecting a bar they had a small bar top with no chairs this is a restaurant not a bar or tavern

Server lied when my wife asked if her salad was made with chicken breast (it wasn’t, it was a thigh hammered flat). Everything was really poorly made and expensive. Worst food in Boerne! Don’t go.

Went this week for dinner and it was absolutely amazing! The food was fresh and truly chef prepared. Will definitely be back. So glad to have them on Boerne Main Street and so many good menu options! The staff was top notch - our waiter and bartender know what they are doing! Highly recommend!

I am Italian and I honestly enjoyed the pizza. A little too cheesy for me, but the dough was light and the pizza had a nice crust.
I wish they put prosciutto instead of pastrami on the charcuterie board, but I enjoyed it as well.
We'll go back to try other dishes for sure.

My wife and I love coming here for dinner. The food is always amazing, and the staff is top notch. Every time we have friends or family come to visit, we make sure to bring them to The Richter Tavern. The pizza and sushi are as Nacho Libre would say, “de besssst”!

I thoroughly enjoy dining here with my friends and family. The servers are always focused on making their guests feel right at home. And when the owners come over to serve you and your party… priceless! It’s a favorite for me!
