Been using them for 15-20 years, they always seem to go above and beyond, if there's any issues, management addresses them quickly and responsively.

Rick’s Cleaners on Jolleyville Road is the ONLY Cleaners I use. The price is definitely right, and a great value, considering what a great job they do on my clothes. I’ve never had any problem with anything I’ve left, and I am extremely particular about my clothes. They mostly dry clean my clothes, but I will sometimes leave a favorite top to have hand-pressed, because it is covered with embroidered flowers, and it always comes out perfectly. I enjoy dealing with everyone who works in the front. I especially appreciate the help to my car when I have quite a bit of clothes to pick up, as I am disabled, and clothes can get quite heavy.

I’ve had a good experience with Ricks so far. My clothes always come back on time and look great. The price is competitive as well. Service and customer experience at the Jollyville location is hit or miss though. Some of the employees are friendly and others don’t say a word to you.

I took two delicately embroidered items to be dry cleaned at Ricks. I figured if they messed these up, I'd take my clothes elsewhere for cleaning. The clothes look amazing! They were cleaned, pressed, and covered. The woman who works at Ricks on Jollyville is a natural with customers. Very friendly and helpful. Loves to smile and laugh with us!

I look for cleaners that don’t smash buttons because on a $250 shirt a sewn on replacement isn’t gonna cut it. So far they have not smashed any buttons and the clean quality is better than any others I’ve used.

My dry cleaned clothes came out perfectly and on the day I expected them. I received a text telling me they were ready. I love having Rick’s do the dry cleaning fir my clothes.

My jacket is not cleaned or pressed. One of my knit tops has lines in the garment. Very disappointed.

Customer beware: Ricks will not reimburse you for the replacement value of items they lose or for DRY-CLEANING THE ITEM THEY LOST! I understand that items will be lost from time to time and when I showed up to collect my luxury down duvet insert (valued at approx. $600), I was informed it was not there. In spite of the fact that our home was being listed and a photographer was showing up days later to photograph every room of the house for the listing, I originally expressed understanding and believed their promises to "make it right. " Fast forward weeks later and a half dozen phone calls and visits to the Jollyville location to follow up and my patience is now gone. The burden was always on me to follow up and when I did, I was given conflicting information about their reimbursement policy. I was assured by one employee that if I sent the receipt for the new duvet I had to order, they would send me a check. I did so and instead, they sent me a check for a little over half the value and did not include the dry-cleaning charge of $33 I had pre-paid. When I followed up (AGAIN), I was given some spiel about "depreciation value, blah, blah, blah" and told that they included the chart with my check and that the amount of the check also included the dry-cleaning charge. NOPE. Fortunately, they did include the chart and even highlighted the determined depreciation value (thank you for providing the evidence!). I did the math and based on the formula, it did not include the dry-cleaning charge. I notified them by email and sent a copy of their own chart along with the simple math required to determine the depreciation amount. I also informed them that I would wait a few days to hear back on whether or not they would a) honor their word to refund my lost item at replacement value and b) reimburse me for the prepaid dry cleaning of the lost item. I warned that if I did not hear back, I would post a review about my experience and challenge the dry-cleaning charge with my credit card company. It's been two weeks and. CRICKETS. So, here I am posting a review and having to deal with the added hassle of challenging the charge with my credit card company in the middle of a busy move! Had I known their store policy for lost items would be a subjective value based on depreciation, I would have never entrusted them with a valuable item. Perhaps I should have asked this up front, but I never imagined this would be an issue as I assumed any decent business would make it right with the customer when at fault. Maybe they do a good job on dry-cleaning clothes, but I would never trust them with an item that has value to you (wedding dress, drapes, bedding, your grandmother's quilt, etc.) Based on my experience, they will not "make it right" should the item be lost and as a bonus, they will charge you for cleaning the item they lost! I am a reasonable person and should they decide to honor their word and make it right, I will be happy to update this review. Meanwhile, learn from my mistake and take your valuable items elsewhere!

UPDATE: It's 10/26 and I'm still waiting for that promised phone call from the owner! Meanwhile, we have challenged the dry-cleaning charge of the lost item with our credit card company.

Not a good experience. I took pants to be dry cleaned and shirts to be laundered on a Thursday, prepaid for the services, and was told the clothes would be ready after 3 pm on Saturday. I went mid-morning the following Monday and was told the pants could not be located but she would search and call or text me when located. Also, I was now told the shirts would be ready after 3 pm Monday. I never received a call or text about the pants so I went back after 3 pm. I picked up the pants but the shirts were not there. I went back about 6: 30 pm and was told the shirts were now there but they had not yet had time to process the location so I was asked to wait while they went to look for them (they were located). The bottom line is even though I went to pick up my clothes a day later than originally promised it still took 3 trips that day to successfully pick up my order, and the staff did not seem to care about the inconvenience to me. I will not be going back.

Locally and family owned. They care about doing business well for their customers. I accidentally met and spoke with the owner at a store they were actually closing on my first visit. Some people you can just tell who they are. There was another Rick’s within a couple of miles away. My cleaners of choice now and it’s been a few years… I believe in this company and the way they execute their service. Loyal customer here.

Ricks is great. Sylvia at Floral Park is so nice and friendly. Virtually no errors over nearly 10 years
