Ridgeview Ranch Golf Course reviews
21Course is in real bad shape. Greens are messed up. Tee boxes aren't mowed and weeds on them. Fairways does look better. Bathroom stinks like public john place. This course needs a real overhaul or people will stop going there. I know I will. Not worth $70 of they keep it like this. Maybe $35 at most.
Greens are in awful shape. Half of the tee boxes are in really bad shape.
Great course layout; It's fun and challenging course. I understand with the winter weather that some courses are suffering, but for $70 for 18 holes, I expected much more.
Will give it another chance later this year, but the course is in pretty bad shape. I'd gladly change my review in the future, but someone over there needs to wake up.
Greens are very bad. No grass. Poa annua through out. Has the greenskeeper been trained to replace the Bermuda grass when he cuts a new hole location? I waited about a year hoping the management would improve the greens, but they are worse. And the green fee is higher than comparable municipal courses around. I like the layout and the course should be fun, but the greens are just atrocious.
This golf course maintenance has been neglected for the past two years, greens are full of weeds so don't even try to get a reading because you will never get a consistent roll. Tee boxes bearly have any grass. Yet they keep charging top $$$.
A round of golf in this course with the current condition should not cost more than $40. I hope the management will get it together soon as the course has a really good layout.
Worst $70 course I’ve ever played. Best thing about the course was the golf carts. Greens were terrible. Might as well have been putting on a gravel road. There’s a dozen other courses in DFW with better overall grounds.
Course is in awful shape and not worth the money. No marshals out on the course to judge speed of play. Arrogant pro shop staff that think the course is country club worthy. Would never pay to play this course again. Only thing that was good on this course was the food and beverage staff.
I go ride bicycle every day here.
Very nice and clean.
Friendly people.
Beautiful neighborhood.
I was a member here while I loved nearby and I really.enjoyed the course. Not overly punishing and also very affordable. Grounds we well kept and the driving range, putting and chipping green are close to one another so makes practicing easy and accessible.
Courses in great shape except for a few bunkers that need additional sand after the rains. Because it was a nice fall day everybody know brother came out the play so the course played in livid over 5 hours. I would consider this one of my favorite courses to play in the North Allis area
Course was all right but pricey on the weekend. Carts had no GPS and there was a shortage of carts. Clubhouse was stingy with scorecards and had to wait for range balls.
The staff is one of the friendliest and most accommodating group of guys. I had an issue with golf now and scheduling and they were extremely helpful with the situation. They took care of me and i definitely recommend checking out the course. The greens were true and quick. The layout is a challenge to all types of golfers. Will revisit come summer to see the fairways and greens in their prime.
Good course with friendly staff. Greens were a little rough ️ the fairways were 3stars. Ill be back to golf for sure hopefully as the season changes the course improves. The course is very fun.
One of the best municipal courses in DFW. Challenging, but not too difficult. Friendly clubhouse, bar, and cart workers. Course is in consistently good shape.
Great coarse for the price.we always have a great time.we normally play mid to late afternoon during the week and generally have no problem getting the full eighteen in in 3 hours or so.
Played on a Church sponsored charity tournament on Saturday the 21st. Really didn't think we would get 18 holes on before the storms, but the weather held out. Course was in great shape. Greens ran fast and had plenty of break, even with the rain.
Still too early in the season. Conditions still waking good from winter/spring weather. Nice layout with some good hidden challenges.
A great Golf Course. Good lay-out and well maintained greens. Sometimes it is very slow on weekends and can easily take more than five hours to play a round.
This course is average. The greens were bad. Grass everywhere was cut too short everywhere. Need to let it thicken and grow
Weather was chilly and windy but the course has a great layout. It has some challenging holes but overall it plays medium-hard
Pros: The course is in great shape with a few challenging holes.
Cons: Clubhouse is understated and gas-powered carts (no GPS) are a bit slow. Overall slower pace of play than at other public courses.
