Right Steps Childcare & Academy, Houston TX

This daycare is absolutely amazing. My son has been attending this daycare for going on 5 months now and when I say I have yet to have any issues or concerns, I truly mean it. My son came from a daycare where he was getting sick literally every week, to starting at right steps and never being sick since he’s started. The director and her staff are very diligent in making sure the facility is in tip top shape and cleanliness is a top priority. I literally smell the cleanliness as soon as they open the door to hand me my child. Another important factor when choosing care for my child is the activities they conduct and if the facility is proactive in teaching the children new things not just so much allowing them to come to care for 8 hours and go home. This academy will work with your child on walking for first time walkers, my son, I kid you not was up and walking within 3 weeks. My son also knows specific request such as being told to sit down, his vocabulary is picking up extremely fast, and overall is being taught manners and so forth. They have the kids participate in activities, example my son had to create an “all about me project” once all projects were submitted, the most creative earned a prize. The children are well fed, kept clean and safety is a top priority from the director and her staff when caring for your children. Communication is outstanding from the director and staff, she is very open and honest about everything and keeps you informed about every bit of information regarding the facility and upcoming trips or projects down to your child and a general day to day update. The center is also very diverse with kids of different ethnic background. If you are looking for comfort in knowing your child is in someone else’s care, please please please send your child here.

I love this daycare and especially Ms. Shamika and Ms. Keisha they are so professional and everyday my 1 year old is learning something new or doing something new I should’ve picked this daycare long ago before the other ones with the activities they do with all ages (projects, field trips, learning sports by teaching the kids the fundamentals) this is just the best daycare hands down

My son went here last year for Pre-k and I’m so glad he did. I’m just sad I didn’t enrolled him earlier. He was sad to leave to start Kindergarten this fall. He loved all the staff specially Ms. Keisha. He still tells me he wants to go back and misses them. He was very well prepared for Kinder and I gave gotten a lot of compliments (academically and behavior wise) from the new school thanks to RSCA.

Ms. Shameka and Ms. Keisha are absolutely the best. My son started with them for few months before he started Pre-K and it was an amazing experience with both of them.
