Rigoberto’s Taco Shop reviews
15Came in trying new taco spots. Tacos in order tripa had a great crunch but completely tasteless. The creamy green salsa mad it ok. 2 out 10. The carnitas was oily and very little seasoning 3 out of 10. Quesabirria was pretty good I was expecting a crunch but was soggy. I feel like the flavor was there but not 3.5 out of 10. There carne asada expectations where low and stayed that way. Very little flavor but with the queso it went from a a4to a4.5. Drinks took a bit long but where ok. Chips tasted old and queso was bland. For the price point I’m disappointed. If you want fast mid tacos this place and you live within 500 yards maybe come. Kid behind the counter was pretty nice sold me on bland taco that looked nothing like the picture.
I go here every other week and the food is fresh and authentic. Customer service is great. The cashier took to remember what I typically order. I finally tried something new. My favorite taco shop in Dallas.
I love this place been going for years. I Get the Birria tacos! Delish and fast, the only thing is. Other restaurants in the market give you four tacos this place gives only two but charges the same as four. Hopefully that'll update soon, but other than that. Highly recommend.
The food is great. The service is amazing. Dinning is great. Nice clean facility. I'll be back.
I didn't see a burrito on the menu that I wanted so I asked for a burrito with beef, beans, rice, cheese and sour cream. She said the sour cream would be extra, I said fine. She told me $12, I said okay. I got to the window and was handed a receipt to sign that also had a place for a tip (at the drive-thru) so I added $2 tip. I get back to work and I have a $14 burrito with NO BEEF. This is the second time I've driven through in the last year and didn't get what I ordered and paid for the last time. Accuracy is everything! I only gave 2 stars because it wasn't an awful burrito but I paid $14 for bean and rice basically.
Looking for street tacos nearby and found this place. I got the steak tacos with cheese. It was delicious. They also serve breakfast all day.
The food was very good. Burritos are huge and very filling. They’re a bit pricey if you add stuff, other than that, it was flavorful and better than expected. Cashiers looked miserable and were silent even after I thanked them. Customer services definitely is not their strong suit but if you can look passed that, the food will make up for their lack of customer service.
Rude cashier lady. But the again if it's a family business nothing matters. Food is dry, tasteless no flavor what so ever. Only good think is the horchata water other than that the vibe itself there is not welcoming
Visual appeal is lacking. The guy at the counter (didn't get a name, sorry) was so helpful and polite, despite the language barrier. I don't speak Spanish and his English, a little bit better than my Spanish, was enough for communication.
The food was pretty good. Rice was a little dry, but well-seasoned refried beans made up for that.
I got street tacos with carne asada. Tortillas were soft and warm. Meat was VERY tasty and very, very hot. Had to wait a couple of minutes for cool down.
My bride got the birria tacos, and she said they were excellent and that the birria broth on the side was very good. She thought her frijoles de la hoya were a little on the salty side.
Daughter got street tacos with carnitas. She agreed with me: dry rice, excellent refried beans, nice, warm, SOFT tortillas, and very tasty meat that was quite hot.
Where we three disagreed were the salsas: both the red and the green were much, much too spicy for the ladies. I loved the green salsa. Loved, loved, loved the green salsa. Spicy? Yes! Did it taste good? Even more emphatic yes! I stole the green salsas from the ladies when I saw that they were unlikely to finish them. Red? Seemed to taste ok and was quite spicy as well, but I completely ignored it after I got a taste of the green.
I've read lots of poor reviews for this joint. All I can say is that we had an excellent experience here. Only drawbacks were the visual lack of appeal of the dining area and that we live north of 380 and are unlikely to be in this particular neighborhood very often to allow for another visit. C'est la vie.
Horrible experience! No one greeted us, and never been to a taqueria or Mexican restaurant where they cannot add rice or beans to your burrito! Ridiculous
If you could spin the block.please go to Taco Bell you’d be better off. Horrible customer service, fries tasted 2 days old and chicken had to be made the day before.
If you walk into an establishment and no one is welcoming or accommodating, take that as sign.
No matter what management says, RUN!
2/10 would not recommend…. Ever
Great shop! Everything was excellent and worth the drive. I highly recommend all the burritos.
I had to mix everything together to taste anything! The shell the taco was on was good! The service was fast and it was clean. It kinda blew me that it was hot dogs in the beans though.ssaaaayyy look out!
I paid about 14 dollars for two barbacoa filled tacos, however I don't believe they were worth 14 dollars. I expected more
I would've rated them a 5, but I wasn't even given at least a fork when I ordered my street tacos. I only needed a fork because the onions and cilantro were on the side so I needed something besides my fingers to put them on my taco. Flavor was delish! Serving size was perfect for the price! I truly enjoyed my meal!
