Nice restaurant with a cozy vibe and great tasting Thai food!
We ordered the Khao Soi and Railway fried rice. The khao soi was rich and creamy because of the coconut cream and came with various toppings. It had a good balance of fried noodles, chicken and curry. The fried rice was delicious, unlike any that we have had before with a savory and umami taste.
The portion size was big. Totally value for money. We ordered medium spicy, and yes it was true to our spice level of medium spicy. We do eat spicy foods, so this was perfect for us.
The service was prompt and the servers were polite and happy. The ambiance was homely and cozy.
Would go again to try more standard Thai options and have some more of that fried rice.

Viva Jalisco is superior in every way the food is wonderful. The staff is friendly and attentive. They understand the business very well.

Went here for dinner on a weekend. We got a seat immediately, they were busy. Parking can get tricky.
The service was good. We got their Railroad fried rice and Khao Soi Gai. You can adjust spice levels, we got 3 and it was great.
Loved the fried rice. The Khao Soi was a bit creamy. But the taste was really good. The portion size are really good. It was a lot of food between two people. Loved the food and it's definitely worth a shot.

Really bad service! I didn’t ask for the check and they just brought it and interpreted my meal. Super rude! Super weird I didn’t even get my receipt!? Is this legal? And most food way too sweet. If you are looking for some actual Thai food it is not the place to go. Also the happy hour wine, more taste like a juicy water…. And parking is horrible.

We often come here but today the service was a huge disappointment. We ordered chicken wings and meat balls as appetizers, and for our entrée we ordered pad prikking and pad see ewe with bean sprouts. The entree arrived with the pad see ewe with green beans instead of bean sprouts. When I informed the waiter of the mistake, instead of acknowledging the error, he rudely said, “we have to remake it”. So I said well, if that’s an inconvenience then can you bring the bean sprouts on the side? There was no apology and he then says, “ok but we will have to charge you extra. ” If this waiter (Oak) continues to work there I may have to walk out the next time I try to come and eat there, or I may just order take out. I’ll end with a good note though. The food was great and always the perfect amount of spice.

Bring your business elsewhere, there are better Thai restaurants out there with actual customer service like Street food thai market, Kindee, Bangkok Social, Asia Market Thai Lao food. This place is perfect if you’re looking for some mediocre Thai food and terrible service from their rude waitress. The highlight is expecting to pay for a tip even after the employee asked you to do all of her job and argued with you the wrong order she took when you had food allergy.

Been a loyal customer here since Covid 19 when it was good and introduced this place to so many people but today we had the worst experience ever. The food quality has gone down, but the waitress was the RUDEST service staff we've ever met. She needs more training before waiting tables because this girl is incompetent with getting order, offering zero customer service, spilled fish sauce everywhere and had the nastiest attitude possible to a paying customer. Don't even get me started with the hygiene there were flies on the food. There are other amazing Thai places out there and you would think they try to offer decent customer service during the recession but no, the audacity to add 18% for a party of 4 adults and 1 child is ridiculous, that is only understandable for a party of 6 with customer service. I will continue to bring my business to Street food thai market, Asia Market Thai Lao, Kin Dee but NOT HERE.

Simply excellent Thai food. This unpretentious restaurant is comfortable, clean, and easy going. Service is Thai friendly and efficient. I had a flavorful chicken Panang Curry with rice. Some of the best I've had, including Thailand. Prices are modest, meal plus a Heineken beer, and $5 tip came to $25 total. Parking looks more crowded than it is. There is a guard to prevent the now omnipresent Houston smash-n-grab break-in, a much better situation than most restaurants. This is on my favorite casual list.

Wow! Rich, spicy, and flavorful just like Thai food should be. The bartender and waitress were super friendly. I ordered the Pad Cha Seafood and the plate came out piping hot with shrimp, scallop, squid, and crab with steamed jasmine rice on the side. The grilled veggies were juicy and delicious, enhancing the whole dish.

I accidentally ate a whole red pepper making my nose run and soaking my forehead in sweat. The bartender laughed and made me a free milk-tea to soothe the heat. Really appreciate that. Wrapped up lunch with an Elephant Power shot and lime slice capping the whole experience. I will be back here again.

A nice place for a couple date. Outdoor seating is much peaceful. Food is great. Service is awesome.

I was told this was very good Thai food. It was ok. The wait for a table during lunch was a bit long. They had only two waitstaff. You rarely get checked on. The tables next to us waited for a long time to get their check. The food was ok. The jerky appetizer was pretty good. The pad kee barely had any noodles in it. It predominantly tasted like fish sauce and nothing else. The mamasan curry had good flavor but the potatoes were still hard. Overall, I won’t be back. There are plenty of other good Thai restaurants.

The food here is exquisite. One of my favorite restaurants in Houston. Parking sucks but the food definitely changes my mood.

Service was very attentive and the food was delicious.i really liked the thai style papaya salad.it’s a lot more authentic to the homemade papaya salad i grew up with than most other places i’ve been to.restaurant is a little pricey and it’s hard to get parking on weekend nights, but worth it in my opinion

Food is eatable but not what we like. Service is poor not friendly. Ordered khao soi (curry was too thick) fried rice (too sweet) and pad Thai (too soggy)
