Ringo's BBQ and Burgers, Laredo TX

Good food and kind staff. The location is hidden so that was fun, haha. The portions were a bit disappointing for the price and some items were overpriced. A single stuffed jalapeno should not be that pricey.

Service is everything, while I don't ever expect to be treated like a king or pampered like some purse dog in Venice, I certainly like to feel welcomed. Ringo's BBQ flavor is unique, and their style is unmatched. Serving my personal favorite such as the Tombstone Burger, cream corn and delicious cups of beans, it's not wonder I can't help myself to return. Yet each time I dread the interactions I have with some, not all, staff. Occasionally I do get friendly, attentive and charming vibes from some staff members, it isn't consistent. At my most recent visit, a staff member was preparing to take my order, and another staff member rudely interrupted our interaction by stomping between them and the POS system, and proceeded to take an order on the phone, practically shoving the other staff member out of their way. The cashier helping us apologized for the interaction, yet the rude one did not. Needless to say, this isn't the first time that staff member has behaved in such a way, as I've had many a sour interaction with them and other members of this establishment.
On to setting, the venue is always calm, clean and casually rustic, charming and true to it's BBQ heritage in a South Texas border town where culture is key.

Always go after a band performance or just to have some Texas BBQ, Always delicious, always respectful workers. Will return soon!

The only 5 star dining experience in Laredo, Texas.

Laredo, Texas, shockingly, is a restaurant desert, where in earnest, Olive Garden is ranked as one of the best restaurants in town.

In this regard, most of the restaurants I visited were low to mid 4 stars - even though locals assured me they were "great. "

It is a sad testament to Mexican culture in Laredo that the best restaurant is a Texas barbecue restaurant.

Yet, here we are.

So, yes, this establishment was mostly excellent, with tender yet firm brisket and excellent prices vs portions.

The only issue was the cleanliness and tidiness of the drink station and restroom.
Also, this establishment is difficult to and see from the road.

I would return to this restaurant if I visit Laredo again, especially considering my other options.

Wow, if you haven’t gone to their breakfast yet, go! The Ringo’s plate is delicious! A must visit in Laredo for its great food!

First time customer, i ordered the sliced brisket sandwich combo with potatoe salad and macaroni n cheese, the sandwich and potato salad are good, the mac n cheese was some what flavor less. The sweet tea was also good. I will return to try different items

Great food, the chicken sándwich is huge, bring an extra belt loop or someone to share with. Brisket fries are tasty too. A true taste of South Texas.

**Best breakfast**I don’t know why this place isn’t packed with lines out the door. Came in for their breakfast and it was delicious. Great service, amazing prices, and clean atmosphere. Absolutely amazing. I would suggest moving your breakfast signs that’s next to your building and put it by the road with the other because my of my friends didn’t know you all served breakfast.

Good brisket and sausage. The brisket was not too fatty or too dry. Nice folks at the counter. I will visit again when I am in town.

Went with friends for lunch. I ordered the cheese burger and the two meat plate with brisket, sausage and coleslaw. You order at the counter then wait for your name to go get your food so there is no wait staff. The burger was good. But the mustard, which is in a self-serve corner along with ketchup and drinks, was watered down. Literally had water added to the pump container. It was just really unexpected and while it didn’t effect the taste it was a mess. The brisket was dry probably because of how it’s kept before service and the sausage was inedible. Some of the sides were decent. The last time we went there was three years ago. It might be another three years.

Hubby said a 5 star rating is not enough. He rates Ringo’s 10 stars. Our favorite items on menu are the jalapeño cream corn, stuffed jalapeños with brisket, and the Doc holiday burger. Friendly staff and is owner operated. I definitely recommend it.

Ordered 2 meat plate with brisket and hatch pepper sausage, brisket very tender and flavorful and the best cream corn I have ever tasted!

Great BBQ plates, sandwiches and burgers. Fast and courteous service. Have been coming back since they opened a few years ago.

My son is going thru a medical treatment which takes away his appetite. The one thing that he craves is Ringos barbeque. I am thankful to ringos for providing excellent customer service but most importantly the best tasting barbeque. Thanks Ringo!

Save your money.i went here because of Shane from the Texas bucket list.i ordered the Doc Holiday and it was nothing like the video. Mine had a pre made patty shredded beaf no brisket slices and no flavor.plus no wood fiered up BBQ pits outside.they use indoor electric or propane ones with the wood chips i think.ho and to expensive.
