My sister was in the hospital for an appendectomy and also was on heart medicine. He came in her room when her heart rate was high and told us he made a mistake with her medicine. We could have done something legally about him but I let my sister decide since it was her body and not mine that got the wrong medication by his orders.

Dr. Rios is a complete and utter joke of a Cardiologist! He did not listen to my husband's needs, including the fact that he has a history of family heart diseases! My husbands blood pressure is still high, heart palpitations, constant chest pain, and so much more! Dr. Rios needs to get his license revoked! Dr. Rios does not listen to your concerns and needs, he refused to put my husband on a heart monitor after SEVERAL appointments and requests! What would it hurt to rule it out!? If my husband has a heart attack, it's ON! So get ready! We will be looking for a different cardiologist, because Dr. Rios needs a reality check!

I was excited to go with my mother to her cardiologist visit. Unfortunately, Dr. Rios was unreceptive to our questions and concerns. He sated that her high blood pressure was due completely to her AGE and than inflammation had nothing to do with it. I encourage you, Dr. Rios, to update yourself on recent studies. The ENTIRE WORLD knows that cardiovascular disease is an inflammatory problem. We wanted to get to the ROOT of her health issue, correct the problem and eventually get off harmful debilitating medications. However, Dr. Rios was NOT INTERESTED in helping her. This is UNACCEPTABLE!
