Rios Barbacoa, San Antonio TX

My favorite Barbacoa and the only Barbacoa I will eat. All meat. And the green salsa, my all time favorite! I always buy extra!

I've got to say it's convenient. If I'm in a hurry, and most times I am, my job is 24/7, it'll do. And they're quick. O' don't be fooled by the sign, they don't have brisket. At least the last three times I've been there there hasn't been any. Although as soon as they get it I'm there. Now I'm intrigued. I miss my favorite place cause this place has no carnitas. " Another strike" you say, but I keep going back.

Been coming to this location for years and years and the staff always makes you feel like family. The barbacoa is always fresh and all meat is always flavorful. Great specials great service whay mkre can you ask for! Definitely would recommend!

Awesome Barbacoa and Menudo, fresh corn and flour tortillas and of course chicharrones and Big Red don't forget the avocado and fresh made salsa.

The staff and service is GREAT!

The barbacoa tasted burnt. Had a funky taste to it. Knocked a couple of stars because I'm sure it's not always like this but bad first impression nonetheless.

I always get the Special. But of course, I still get extras. To Me. Honestly, The Best in San Antonio.

I'm absolutely the pickiest eater so believe me when I say Rio's is The Spot! The barbacoa has no fatty, love that it's all meat especially my kids enjoy that part. The price is so great, love their bundles. Affordable & taste Amazing, you won't regret! They serve quickly & are very kind. Must Try!

Service was excellent and the pork carnitas/barbacoa were off the hook. Highly recommend this place. Everything was fresh and spot on.

The barbacoa and lengua here is delicious, the homemade tamales are highly recommended. The staff is very friendly, courteous, professional, and safe.

I ordered the works cause one pound of barbacoa is just not enough! The charro beans are excellent! The tamales are nice and hot! I absolutely recommend Rios Barbacoa as my #1 weekend breakfast/lunch/dinner cause I eat it all day! Lol

Love the ambiance of this place! This is why Rios is the best! Will never go anywhere else!
