Riscky's Steakhouse reviews
19My family and I came to Riskys steakhouse to celebrate a birthday. The food was great the service was great but the restaurant itself was extremely dirty the bathroom was horrible. Then on top of that I saw the hostess bring two dogs in through the kitchen. No joke legitimate dogs! Right through the kitchen! I used to love this place but I’m not sure I’ll be going back anytime soon until they clean it up!
Brisket bites for appetizers delicious,
All you can eat ribs perfect!
Just don't ask for the bread pudding dessert sorry that is not good and taste old. (One of my favorite dessert) when it's properly done?
This place has a very authentic Texas feel! Amazing! Very good selection of steak but they are a bit pricy. I would still recommend to come here if in the area.
Been here several times, visited again last week and still as awesome as ever! All you can eat beef ribs! What more is there to say? Get over there now!
We always like to eat here before heading to Billy Bob's and they’ve never let us down. The host was nice and the wait wasn’t too bad (45 minutes) considering it was a Friday evening. Fried mushrooms were perfect for an appetizer. Wife had a Cesar salad that was good both of our steak came out perfectly cooked. Our waitress and the rest of the staff were very polite and efficient.
I was greatly disappointed and dissatisfied after visiting this location. The service was SLOW. What gave my party even more frustration was that the staff was hanging out and chatting it up while our drinks were missing for over 10 minutes. Our food took over 30 minutes to come out and it was mediocre at best. The food was warm, like if it sat a bit before coming out. My order was also wrong and we were not checked on during our meal. Once we were almost finished with our food, I expressed the fact that my order was wrong to our server and she seemed bothered and annoyed about it. Overall I will NOT GO BACK to this restaurant. The attempt there is to make it seem like fine dining but it is nothing close to it. You're better off going to Outback or Texas Roadhouse.
If your looking for a place that has something for everyone this is it. Steak, chicken, and fish. Good old fashion service served with a down home country smile.
I am just an average customer just like yourself. I do not receive any compensation or discounts for my reviews.
It was convenient to eat because of tourist location but I suggest visit the area on a full stomach unless a quick bite is necessary; take note no lunch menu on weekends!
Very long wait because of the holiday weekend but great service, and great food. Well worth the wait.
A steakhouse that truly does know know how to cook a steak. Just a word of advice order your steak at least 2 degrees rarer than you would typically order it. This, accompanied with cold appetizers made for a terrible start to a meal. The salad was the best part of the whole meal and was straight from a bag at Kroger. No matter what please do not order any seafood - escargot was covered in cheese? Like who does that - the 10oz lobster tail was literally placed inside a fake tail and was cooked so long it had to be cut with a steak knife. Terrible meal - complete tourist trap. Never again.
We ended up trying this restaurant due to shorter wait time and wish I would have waited for Cattlemans. Appetizers were good, service was okay and speed was fast but maybe too fast. All of the vegetable sides were raw. (I am from Louisiana so yes, it was edible and crisp but closer to raw) House salad was simply lettuce and dressing for $11.wow! The filet was not seasoned or had any charing, like you would expect for Texas. I honestly have gotten better at Texas Roadhouse and a lot cheaper than $40 a steak. The restrooms could be an entire seperate rating. I highly do not recommend this restaurant and can only assume the good ratings are from tourists that have no idea how bad it actually is.in fact tourist trap is the best way to sum this up.
My wife and I went to Risky’s for our Anniversary. The food was off the charts good. The staff was even better, though they were short staffed they all worked together. My special thanks goes out to our server/ Bar tender Dulce. Even though she was wearing two hats that night she did it superbly and wore an amazing smile throughout. Highly recommend!
The steak was the only thing that was good. Plain salad with only a few tomatoes and croutons, bread was hard, french fries were completely soggy and greasy, baked potato was cold and hard. Server had too many tables and inattentive. Won’t be back
My family and I ate a Riscky's Steakhouse yesterday and it was highly disappointing; restaurant was dirty, utensils and dishes were dirty with baked on food from prior customer. Appetizer was really good, but small portions the dread was old, cold and stale, the salad was wilted and didn't taste too great the main course was not good at all.to the point of didn't come close to begain to eat or finishing. SERIOUSLY OVERPRICED, and HIGHLY NOT RECOMMENDED!
Excellent steak, melted in your mouth like butter
Friendly, professional staff
Lunch menu is EXCELLENT value
Smoked catfish was amazing and steak was perfect! Friendly staff and great atmosphere! Really enjoyed this place!
This place is overpriced, the food is lukewarm and they need to fire the cook!
If a "steakhouse" doesn't know how to cook a steak, they should change their specialty name. We ordered our steaks medium well, what we got was medium with blood dripping.our appetizers were fried broccoli bites, which looked like chicken nuggets and would've been delicious if they weren't warm on the outside and cold on the inside. The rolls were good, however they were also cold and they had the nerve to send out butter with them. I ordered the 10oz flat iron steak with mushrooms and onions, however the steak came fully covered with a hunk of brown gravy and mushrooms which taste like a old grease. Oh and our bill was a little over $115.00.we will NEVER return.
Absolutely awful! We were seated quickly, but then nobody came to serve us water or give us bread for about 20 minutes and we kept asking other waiters for it because ours was nowhere around!
Our food came out before our appetizers and I only ate the baked potato because the steak sucked! So disappointed, we had high hopes for this place
I also emailed like asked, but still no reply!
The tbone steak was cooked perfectly sides were good, wish they served fresh bread with the meal, then it would have been 5 stars
