Rise N Shine Donuts, Lubbock TX

I have been going to Rise N Shine since I was a kid. I love their donuts and their kolache’s, but this morning The guy at the window was very rude. Acted like it was a burden to take my order. Very disrespectful will not be returning.

Rude, unprofessional, dismissive.
Do not recommend this location.
Management thinks we're a burden to her life and not worth remembering.even tho I had dealt with her the day before.
She said " 'We' don't remember doordashers". I even informed Doordash I prefer never to visit her location again.
Rude.

The best donuts and breakfast burritos in town. The cherry and blueberry fritters are my favorite. Always consistently delicious and wonderful staff!

Popular spot for your donuts here in Lubbock, they have all the favorites and then some, as well as breakfast plates and burritos. Always busy but always fast and friendly.

Good donuts but very unorganized. Not friendly at least some of the workers. They act as if they hate too be at work. RUDE!

Terrible customer service! I didn't receive part of my order and noticed when I got home. I called back immediately within 5 minutes and asked to have the item ready to come pickup. They rudely said no the grill was closed as the store was fixing to close for the day. She said you can come back tomorrow and get reimbursed. I told her I wouldn't be able to return the next day she stated they would take care of me the next time I was in. Fast forward a week and I order and explain the previous situation. They rudely said no they would not reimburse me or give me the item I didn't receive. I will never give them my business again. Extremely rude staff for mediocre food you probably won't even get after you pay.

I asked for “chocolate glazed” she gave me regular glazed, so I went back inside and asked for the correct ones. With an attitude, she said “next time just asked for chocolate because when you say chocolate glazed we automatically think glazed”. That’s the dumbest thing I’ve ever heard…! I clearly said “CHOCOLATE”… it’s always something with this location that they never get the orders right and always have bad attitudes.

If we get doughnuts or kolaches, this is our go to place. Food and staff are always top notch.

Doughnuts & kolaches were really good. Line was long whn i went but the line moved pretty fast

Lady would not run a debit card unless u spend 5$ or more on the one off Frankford not very friendly either took my serv to jack n jill so nice there

They have very good maple bacon donuts! Opens at 5am, and the coffee is very "donut shoppe-y", the service is pleasant, the store itself is very clean and the staff are still wearing masks and gloves.excellent.

WOW! The Fritters and Cinnamon rolls are huge. Very clean store and friendly staff. Many customers coming in but still very quick. Wish they had the Chapel Hill sausage for kolaches but that's ok.

Went and asked for a maple bar which was good. I also ordered an iced coffee extra cream extra sugar. The man who attended me was not helpful at all. I got a cup of hot coffee with 3 puexes of ice. When i told him thats not what I ordered he just stared at me. I will not be returning to this dump.

If i could give zero stars I would. I bought a few donuts and a few Kolache‘s yesterday and knew my total was WAY off. I calculated from their menu they charged me 5 dollars and some change more. The first red flag was the lady not wanting to give me my receipt! She grabbed one but it wasn’t mine and put it in the plastic bag it wasn’t till I got home I saw it wasn’t mine. If you want to lose some money Rise N Shine Donuts on slide will happily take it from you. My total should have been 13$ and some change. I was charged 19.32 guessing there were donuts added on to my receipt or charged me for large kolaches after I repeated small twice.

The service was fast and the employees friendly, but the donuts were great! They had a great variety and weren't too expensive. The breakfast burrito was very good also. I will definitely be back

Sausage croissant was bland not a good sausage at all but glazed donuts were good very soft.
