River City Neurology, San Antonio TX

The receptionist rude and uncaring. My mom went all the way across town for her appointment and the receptionist would not help my mom with the electronic check in and she didn’t try very hard to try and understand my mom. My mom is 89 years old and from Japan. She made my mom reschedule her appointment. My mom should be paid for them canceling her appointment without 24 hour notice. We will not go back there. They don’t care about people.

I took my 80 year old dad here the last two years. About 4 months ago we had a message to confirm our appointment at the office. I drove into town and picked up my dad and went for the office visit. The lady at the front desk looked at me funny and said they are not taking office visits everything is online. I advised her my dad does not have a computer at his house and that would not work for us. She finally put us in a back room with a computer. There were three staff members at this location. I did not see anybody else. The doctor met himThrough the computer. They talked about fishing and my dad talked about when he used to go bowling. It was a 10 minute visit. The doctor did not ask any other questions and it was a complete waste of time. I was not happy with spending two hours of my day and taking my dad over here. We will not go back.

Dr. Reddy is a great professional; always willing to listen and approaching the patient with kindness and taking the time to explain everything that is happening. I have had multiple sclerosis for almost 12 years and the only competent Neurologist I have the blessing to find is my first Neurologist in El Paso, Texas and Dr. Reddy here in San Antonio. I even changed insurances because he was not covered.

Giving them one star because of their God awful staff! I had a referral to them from North Central Baptist for hemiplegic migraines. On December 1,2020 Monique called and left a message to set up the appointment. I finally was able to call to set it up today. Not only did they tell me they had no referral for me (despite the paperwork in my hand and the voicemail), they were also EXTREMELY rude and condescending. People like them do not need to be working in the healthcare profession, ESPECIALLY with people with neurological trauma. DO NOT GO HERE!

I called to make an appointment, but the office staff was very rude. Said they couldn't see me unless I had a referral from some other doctor. Even if that is their policy, the person's demeanor and tone was horrible. The person sounded totally uncaring, not good for a doctor's office.
