River Legacy Parks reviews
15Agreed park in northern Arlington in Arlington it has lots of open areas the grass is always well kept and I enjoy watching my telephone or reading a book here or there
Great park to walk or bike! My boys and I biked 12 miles, saw an armadillo, hundreds of grasshoppers and butterflies, hawks, cranes, etc.
I only visit here for the mountain bike trail but that is reason enough to come. DORBA does a great job maintaining the trail and posting closures in thier website. The trail itself is pretty mellow except for one clearly marked section and the park area. I normally ride with my kids and we stick to the easier sections. Even those sections have a few features to try out and it is really building thier confidence
This place is just tops. Very big so always something to do. Great open spaces, playgrounds, and trails to hike. The science center is great too, a lot of great stuff for kids to learn about.
Don't like that they tore down trails in the front to make another car park. It was disgusting to watch happen. Let's respect this place and not leave your trash everywhere too. They have garbage cans-use them people.
This is a great park for walking on paved or dirt trails. MTB trails are excellent. Many pavilions for picnics and grass fields for playing!
Very nice place, beautiful. I liked all the paved trails and wanted to do more of the unpaved ones but wasn't sure how to get to them or where they led. It would be great to have some trail maps available
Wow, this park is amazing! There were several awesome park areas in here, lots of trails for walking and bikes. The nature center was really cool too. Tons of wide open spaces for throwing a frizby or flying a kite.
Can't wait to bring our daughter here. She'll love it.
River legacy park is a fun park to go ride a bike. Wide concrete pathways for walkers, runners, bicycling. It has offroad trails for mountain bikes and for hiking. Which ever one you choose to do they both have beautiful scenery. People from all around the DFW have herd of this park. Saying it's one of the best bike trails around here. I'm just glad I don't live to far from it.
My only complaint: the kids playground has wasp nest and ant hills in the wood chips. They really should consider changing to tires or plastic.
I looove bringing my toddler here to just roam amongst the trees and large rocks. The Trails and facilities are soo well maintained and our family always feel refreshed when we come out and truly breathe in fresh clean air while taking in the beautifully maintained and kept parks and trails.
Excellent place to go mountain biking. Different difficulty level trails but mainly intermediate and beginner trails.
We really enjoyed it! Wish we lived closer so we could go more. The staff was really friendly and helpful and the trails were great. Also the playground is really cool
We love this park! It's not as handicap accessible as other parks we've been to, but there are alot of options for children of all ages. There is a spot with alot of will kept grills should that be to your liking, and a large public restroom. All in all excellent choice! There are also bike and walking trails if that's your thing. The Nature Center is great, and the interactive site is affordable and excellent for younger children.
It's a clean and greenery park ever find in DFW. Place place to go with family and children for refreshment and walk
