River Oaks Park reviews
14Love this park. Very clean, lots of options, and it's extremely safe. We come here often.
Nice park to take kids to play. We just happened to go by while a birthday party was taking place. But great gated park for kids to play.
It was freezing cold the night we visited the park. But other then that it offered a very nice Christmas Photo background. We used the chimney area for a background in our photo's.
One of my favorite parks! I love having picnics here and taking walks. Lots of trees so lots of shade and many Pokéstops for Pokémon Go players.
Adorable little park with seating for parents and it's all safely closed in in a quiet little neighborhood. Play structures suitable for multiple ages and lots of shade. Plus the wishing trees are SO cute.
Our daughter played on the playground. A nice place, not too hot on the slides, lots of seating for parents (can take a picnic lunch if you'd like). Has a smaller and bigger kid jungle gym, ground is covered in bark bits so watch out for splinters or pieces in your child's hair.
Nicely shaded area! Loved it very much. We were trying to enjoy the morning before it got too hot. Ended up leaving the house a bit late so decided to go here for my first time. I couldn't get over how shaded and much cooler it was I'm sure compare the other parks around the area with less trees. Will definitely come back again.
I only take time to review places that I feel people will benefit because either I saved them from the terrible experience or they read my review and visit a place they will make their own memories. I really like this park but this past weekend my daughter had her birthday party at this park and needless to say this will be our first and last birthday party at a park. Our guest all has children under the age of 5 and when asked if there was a restroom we said yes but little did we know it was locked! So please help me understand why did we pay to reserve this space that has yellow caution tape as my back drop and no working restrooms? Very disappointed. It make more sense to arrive unannounced take the 4 deck tables and no need to pay 35$ for a reservation. Just giving those who are thinking of renting for a party a heads up.
Decent park with an enclosed area for small children. Really nice benches under the shade for outdoor picnics. Unfortunately elsewhere people have their dogs running around off-leash even though this isn't a dog park. Frustrating, but it is what it is.
Well maintained park. The park is beautifully designed. You will enjoy your time in the park. This park has things for all ages. Nice raised sitting area to eat a picnic. The wishing tree is a good initiative along with the free book library. The park also had a volleyball and basketball space. My daughter enjoyed her time at this park and we wish to visit it again soon. Recommended if you are around in the River oaks area.
Lovely tree lined park right in between an urban part of town, which allows for an escape from the hustle and bustle. The onsite restrooms are good to have especially when visiting with children. They have 4 tennis courts, beach volleyball, basketball and jogging trails, along with a wonderful fully fenced in playground for kids to play without parents having to worry much.
It is a nice place. I love working in this area. All the residents are super sweet. - Edgar D. Luna (Tellepsen Landscaping)
Nice tranquil place to walk, read a book, sit & talk. Park could use a little tlc, there were a lot of leaves that needed to be raked up. Overall, a good place to visit.
River Oaks Park is beautiful, captivating, and breathtaking in providing its local residents with a wonderful green space for all types of people, from child to adolescents to adult and senior citizens. Exercising in this park is not uncommon, and runners/joggers, such as myself, provides the locals a myriad of social interaction through outdoor activities. Running/ jogging in this park is something quite special, especially being around lush greenery and trees that adore the entire park. If you have not visited this park yet, I would definitely visit soon. You will be missing out on such a beautiful space to relax.
