Dancing ballroom with the River Oaks School has been amazing! Great fun, great exercise, AWESOME staff, and less time spent watching TV (All WINS! Haha). This is a great way to invest in learning a new skill and building confidence on the dance floor (and looking good hehe). Also worth mentioning they also host many social events if you're worried about having a place to show of your new Waltz moves - that said there are lots of dance friendly places in Houston for Salsa, Swing, TwoStep etc, once you start paying attention)

We took dance lessons here for our wedding and it was choreographed beautifully to match our skill level and dance floor size. Thank you!

I cannot say enough about River Oaks School of Dancing. From the moment my fiance and I decided to take lessons for our wedding, we haven't regretted a moment. Kimberli, owner, is the best. Not only is she an amazing person but she is a tremendous instructor. She has made it fun and easy to learn. No judgment at all. We haven't danced in years and want to make our day as special as possible. Kimberli has made that happen. I can't wait to share this with our family and friends.
I highly recommend this studio if you are wanting to learn how to dance or like us just get a refresher.

Kimberley was a wonderful dance instructor who helped my husband prepare to dance with our daughter at her wedding. She is a consummate professional who puts her clients at ease such that we had a lot of fun, despite the fact that we were beginners. Kimberley even made some short videos to share with our daughter who lives out of town.
The studio is beautiful, light and airy.
We got the results we wanted - the dance was a success! Overall an excellent experience that I wholeheartedly recommend to anyone who wants to improve or learn new dance skills.

I cannot recommend River Oaks School of Dancing ENOUGH! My fiancé and I are long distance and they worked with us and our crazy schedule and helped to make our dance ABSOLUTELY perfect! Kimberly is the best and really took the time to work with us and understand what we wanted out of our dance. I can't wait to share pictures of us dancing at our wedding!

Can't ask for a better First dance. Our dance routine was the highlight of the wedding event.we did not hit all the steps as instructed lol.so nervous, but it turned out amazing. Def 5 star, and would recommend for any brides who are looking for a fairy tales wedding dance. It is the best decision I made for the wedding.

We had set up a private lesson with my fiancé and another couple. We do not know anything so we wanted to learn salsa. The instructor was very energetic and welcoming we clicked real well. Would definitely go back again!

Kimberly choreographed and taught my husband and I our First Dance for our wedding. Neither of us is a professional dancer or even considered “good”. In fact, my husband was typically nervous to even recreationally dance because he didn’t think he was good enough. After 10 sessions with Kimberly, David and I honestly looked like professional dancers on our wedding night! We had an absolute blast while everyone watched us (can you imagine? !) and everyone was so impressed. It made that moment for us that more special because we were able to relax and have fun… and look good while doing it! Kimberly was GREAT to work with. She was able to detect areas for improvement/difficulties that my husband and I each had, and she worked on those with us to make us better. She is a lot of fun, too! We felt so comfortable with her and I would 10/10 recommend her expertise to anyone looking for dance lessons. It was WELL WORTH the money. I would’ve paid 2x what I paid for her services. My fiance and I have been taking dance classes to prepare for our wedding day. Kimberly has been amazing in not only choreographing the routine, but cutting the music and helping us learn some other dances for the reception. It is such a fun activity to do as a couple and we plan to continue taking lessons after the big day. THE BEST DANCE STUDIO IN HOUSTON! The owners are incredibly talented, professional, warm and just great people. They have given me the gift of dance again! Please if you are in search of dance lessons, PLEASE take lessons from this school! It will be an amazing experience!

The instructors, Kimberly and Antonio personalize the lessons for you. We are learning dances we could use for going out. They guide us during the lessons step by step so we can practice outside. They are friendly, courteous, patient-professional. We leave the lessons wanting to come back for more. They are excellent dancers, too!

Kimberly and Antonio are wonderful instructors. We are learning several social dance styles so that we can enjoy going out and dancing. They are patient and move us along at a comfortable pace. The group classes are a lot of fun too. For a personalized experience I highly recommend private lessons.

My fiancé and I wanted to take some lessons to feel more comfortable for our first dance. Kimberly and the River Oaks School of Dancing was incredible! She is so kind and talented. She made us feel so comfortable. This was an experience that we were pretty nervous about, but now we are HOOKED! We want to continue our lesson.such a fun date night! I would recommend River Oaks School of Dancing for anyone from beginners to more advanced dancers.

I have been taking private lessons here for 3 years When I started, I knew that I loved to move to music but had no experience with real dancing. My lesson is the high point of my week! I have learned to waltz, to foxtrot, to tango, and yesterday began the rhumba. I have never been athletic in any way, but have had a great time. The teachers are superb, patient, and have a good sense of humor. The lessons leave me relaxed and with a feeling of contentment.

Kimberly did such a wonderful job helping us learn and choreograph the first dance for our wedding. The studio has taken numerous precautionary measures including temperature checks and hand sanitizer upon arrival, as well as requiring masks be worn throughout the lesson. Kimberly did such a great job of breaking down the dance and providing constructive feedback during our one-on-one lessons. We had a blast working with her!
