Riverside Park reviews
20Great park to go hiking, walking/exploring trails (paved or unpaved paths), fishing, ride a bicycle, playground or play 18 holes of disc golf. There is one geocache in this park. Playground could use some upgrades and repair. Downside there is only one bathroom for the whole park. We enjoy going here!
My grandson came down from Missouri an we took the grandkids to play they had a ball, but need sitting for the old folks to sit an watch the grandkids cause standing is to much on us old folks so we can't stay long the kids loved it
Went there recently for a birthday party but they have a pavilion that you can rent for parties the river runs through there and there's plenty of RV parking
Love spending time at the park with the geese and the ducks. Very sad about the cats though.
Cute park by the Pecan Bayou. The park wasn't crowded, was very clean, and had plenty of shade to set in.
This is the nicest park in Brownwood. The Pecan Bayou runs a long the park which makes it nice and relaxing.
Nice family park. Walking trails, picnic tables, volleyball court, and disk golf, next to a river. Pleasant quiet place, great place to bring kids and the family.
Nice park, spent some time there today.there is a playground, picnic tables, frisbee golf, lots of trees and open space. I think my only complaint would be the narrow one way roads. I got a little confused trying to figure out how to leave after I parked to hang out for a bit.
Calm, quiet, good fishing. Just a little piece of heaven! Love to go and get away from the chaos!
Beautiful piece of public nature. Clean. Well maintained. It needs cameras to catch the ones that think its ok to come here and dump their unwanted cats, roosters, pigs and dogs. They need to follow that up with prosection for dumping animals.
Nice walking path. One mile all the way around. The playground is nice and new. Plenty of geese and ducks to watch. Picnic tables all around too.
Very nice place to stay right in the heart of Brownwood. Next to a river, but the banks are pretty steep. The restrooms and showers were nice. And the management is friendly.
Great park for walking! Nice playground too. The larger picnic tables by the playground could use some help.
Beautiful! Lots of running walking hiking and bike trails. Updated playground. Unlimited access to the bayou. There is a large pavilion, pubic tables throughout the park. They have a great disc golf course. Rv hookups, sand volleyball. A wonderful oasis in the of Brownwood
Very nice place to ride around and stretch out your legs. Highly recommend to stop by and enjoy the trails and riverside
Nice park, would Be a lot nicer in the summertime as all the trees were bare and had no Leafs because of winter time.
Really nice park. The cats are cool as well. We actually asked the city if we could take a couple for our barn and they are the best cats we have ever had. Very good barn cats.
We are super happy with our time here. We came here to wlope at a BnB close by but wanted to stay in our RV. Riverside was quiet, clean, had a beautiful view of the river and was extremely comfortable. The bathroom, showers and laundry facility was awesome, too! The owners were very professional, kind, helpful and we couldn't have asked for a better place to escape to for our elopement. Thank you, Riverside! We will be back for sure!
Always a great place to get outdoors I recommend the trails though they’re very overgrown right now
