My name is aaron talbert and I'm currently in the sober living part of river walk and I am very glad I choose this place to change my life. All of the staff changed my life by being positive to me when I didn't feel like changing my thoughts the RC's and therapists there are amazing. They helped me become what aaron needed to be a man. Got me back on my feet working paying my Bill's on time. Being a productive person in society. I owe them alot. All they asked of me was to be sober and I have been doing that. I'm 93 days sober and love my self. Nobody should have anything negative to say about the place. I went there and loved it. Found a good girlfriend who has my back aka lily. Only thing to do is to do it as colton would say. I appreciate riverwalk and the staff members for giving me my 100 chance at life.

My grand daughter was admitted into this place and my son brought up to me that a staff member by the name of LISA has been having “playful” inappropriate conversations with her patients.
She disclosed with them that her daughter has switched genders and she once found an adult toy in her drawer at home. This is not anywhere a conversation should be between medical staff and their patients. My family has contacted facility but yet has been able to hear back from them.
This needs to be taken care of IMMEDIATELY

I had the opportunity to start my recovery journey at Riverwalk Ranch and am extremely glad I chose them for this life changing step. From the first rate medical staff watching over the detox to the encouragement from on of the best therapist’s, Jerrod they made it as easy as it could be to break my addiction and gave me the skills to remain sober for a lifetime. I also have to mention the absolute love and compassion shown by the case manager, Karen. She makes the world go around at Riverwalk. With out her love for every person who enters the doors, Riverwalk would not work. I will always be grateful to the entire staff who made a hard time in my life so much easier.

I would not be alive without the people from the Ranch as us that have expierence done this place lovingly call it. Yes I know people always look for amenities when looking for a rehab, but this place is not short in those but will knock your socks of as far as staff goes. From top to bottom the RWR staff is top notch and truly had their clients best interest at heart. And not just while your there, I have been gone for well over a month and still get calls asking how I am doing or do I need anything. This place with the addition of their extended Recovery facility in Fort Worth is bar none the best place to go if you looking to change your life.

Riverwalk ranch was a great place for me to get out of the world and focus on my recovery and it was very hospitable oh, the detox was very helpful and comfortable most of all. Karen was such a huge help to me, involving my life, my court situation and insight onwhy I do what I do. Colton was also very helpful oh, and Clint really helped me out. If anybody is looking at the reviews for a potential rehab this one is very good. I have been to a few and don't plan on coming to another one but if you are looking for a great place to get better than come to Riverwalk.

So my dad recently came out of there barely alive. He never knew had had cirrhosis and the "doctors there" never ran any blood tests and let him suffer for 4 months and he was in and out of the hospital. Whenever me or my sister would call in he could never talk to us and at one point they lied about his whereabouts. He was in the hospital and they said he was sleeping in bed and would call back later

Do not ever let your family suffer here when they are supposed to be getting help

This has been my second time at RWR, second due to kicking an increased addiction after quitting my first and both times I have been extremely pleased! The atmosphere feels like a home, and they provide many activities like swimming, basketball, art, movie theater (and outings) billiards, yoga, and animal therapy. The nurses are very hard working and do everything they can to make sure we are up to date on medications, doctor appointments, and our overall health. Shoutout to nurse Amy, Willie, Michelle, Kristen, Katy, Stephanie and Alison! The therapists are awesome as well and RWR will do everything they can to get you a therapist you can confide in. I have to give a huge thank you to Denver for helping me through this journey as my therapist! I’ve gone to many therapists through the years and Denver is by far the strongest and wisest I have ever met! Although it also depends on how ready and willing a patient is! “When the student is ready.the teacher will appear. ” And there’s ALWAYS recovery coaches and staff to aid you however they can around the clock. The days are jammed packed with daily group meetings, activities and free time, all of which helps us get ready to become productive members of society. Also the chef is great and can prepare meals that align with your diet choices! I’m currently in sober living with the ranch and they still support us long term patients greatly as long as we continue to work the program. A lot of people tend to complain over minor petty things because they have entitled addict mindsets, or just plain aren’t ready to heal from their addictions. I’ve suggested this place to others in need and will continue to do so! Thank you RWR for everything you’ve done and continue to do for us!

After searching for a Rehab facility for about a week I ended up choosing the first one I had come across. RWR was ready to help from my first phone call and I’m proud to say I have transitioned into a sober living house after about 60 day “in patient” not far from their treatment facility where I continue to work on a better understanding of myself and how to handle life on life’s terms.

RWR arranged for an recovery coach by the name of Colton to pick me up from the airport. I knew I was gonna be okay when Colton made the ride to “the ranch” so comfortable and inviting by just being himself and seeming genuinely invested in his job by being interested in what had brought me 1200 miles from my home. My goal was to change everything and that required me to surrender that I needed help and couldn’t do it alone as I had tried so many times in the past and had been unsuccessful in remaining clean and sober.

I was greeted immediately by a staff of nurses that took their time to gain understanding of where I was physically. They had a caring spirit that again helped me feel I was right where I needed to be.

After nursing I was shown to my temporary detox room by Chelsea who could not have been more kind, compassionate and patient with me.a person who arrived not remembering who I truly was inside and had a great deal of anxiety being around people I didn’t know. Chelsea made the time to also speak with me one on one to lay out what I can expect from a insurance standpoint as well as answer an questions I had. I could not be more grateful for her continued help and support for any concern that has popped up along the way.

I had great meals prepared and served each day 3 times a day. I had my laundry done and folded by staff which was by far one of the most unexpected thing I had imagined when I when looking for a treatment facility. The fact that all I had to worry about was focusing on ME rang through in even the daily housekeeping items done, thank you Gigi and Will. Looking back it was such a small thing but let me focus on the task at hand which is therapy.

I would not be writing this review if not for the wonderful therapist I have had the pleasure of accepting help and guidance from along my journey. I was willing to be real, raw and vulnerable with all the things I held inside that I was afraid of or had such pain from guilt and shame of how I treated myself and the people I love in my life. I was willing to stay uncomfortable for as long as it took for me to feel that light come on and make sense of what seemed unbearable to face. Melissa, Denver, Stacey and Lanie along with their clinical Director Eric have a passion for listening without judgement and helping guide wherever I have needed to go and have shown me places to look for answers where I never thought to look. I will be forever changed inside because it was with their help I was able to reconnect with all the parts that I thought may had been lost forever that I remember loving about myself.

There is a great ensemble of Recovery Coaches many of them I was able to share things with I never thought I could say out loud but once I knew I had their trust and didn’t fear I was being judged it made it so much easier to step out of that dark cloud I was under for so long. Clint was a life saver for me early on before I could even get to my first therapy one on one and needing some reassurance. Jimmy has been a constant force of consistency and always has a smile on her face. Deshawn I ended up looking at like he was my big brother.he said something so simple to me that I still hold tight today when I feel I’m being tested. Mr.green made me laugh on many days when I thought I didn’t have any energy left to laugh. They all genuinely care and want what’s best.

Ms. Karen! From the moment I stepped in her office on my third day I was treated with respect, dignity and grace. Karen made me believe that even thought I couldn’t see the good inside of me or even outside she assured me that I was going to be okay and to take it easy on myself.

My wife went there twice. She said most of the patients were great and supportive of one another, but some of the staff didn't seem to care very much and that they allowed sexual relations between patients.

Recently, I was a patient at Riverwalk Ranch for alcoholism. I came in embarrassed and ashamed that I relapsed. The staff made me feel welcomed and were very compassionate and kind. Everyone from the housekeeping, to the recovery mentors to the clinical and business departments gave me hope. They let me know that I have a brighter tomorrow in recovery. Riverwalk Ranch helped me gain my confidence and gave me the necessary tools to live life sober. I am very grateful!

RWR really helped me learn the love myself and accept my past and forgive myself. The staff in recovery is extremely helpful. I feel like anyone can pick up or learn what they need to stay clean here if they are serious about their recovery.

This place was not a random churn and burn run of the mill facility. It was not my first time in treatment unfortunately, but 6 months and some weeks out of the facility, it’s looking more and more like my last treatment center. I’m eternally grateful for the skill sets I’ve learned while in this place. I’ve discovered problem solving techniques and emotional regulations that allowed me to face the mess I had made of my life and to deal with day to day challenges. There are therapists well versed In every aspect of recovery, and even some with some more personal experiences who can identify with the depth of despair or nature of being unable to stop when I wanted to. The facility is calming, management is well informed on the day to day struggles that getting sober/clean come along with. They were more than willing to help me attain my sobriety by ensuring I was comfortable, and my needs were met above and beyond my expectations. The medical staff was empathetic and very knowledgeable about keeping my detox symptoms at bay, as well as catering to any other medical issues I struggled with. There was plenty of activities, events and therapies that helped keep my mind of the pattern of living I had become accustomed to, creating a safe environment for me to recover and learn to live with out drugs and alcohol with a serene state of mind. I moved to the transitional homes they have available after treatment. This allowed me to go back to work while still experiencing that safe environment. Providing a more subtle acclimation back into society, as a productive father, son, brother, friend and a better me, that countless other treatment centers failed to help me discover was still within me. The guys at the house look out for each other and hold each other accountable as well as build each other up. The house manager, Jamir, is well versed and has extensive experience in management of sober living homes. He sincerely rooted for us and had zero tolerance when it came to being a hinderance or deterrent to the sobriety of others in the house. He helped solve conflicts among residents and ensured we were drug tested frequently, which for me, helped keep me on the path that I am on now. He was empathetic to those who fell off the wagon and reached out above and beyond to help them attain sobriety again, if they were willing to, while ensuring the the safety and the sobriety of the rest of the house. I am grateful for this place, it saved my life and without it.my daughter wouldn’t have a real dad around, my job wouldn’t have the employee I promised them, my parents would have an absentee son and I definitely wouldn’t be myself. Instead of still be trying to cope with my internal struggles using external maladaptive practices I have tools I learnt how to use now. Thank-you Riverwalk I wouldn’t be sober/ clean today without you.

Worst rehab ever! Didn’t care about anyone there. 1st day asked for a counselor at least 5 times and when I met her she acted like I inconvenienced her. I immediately checked out and went to la hacienda. Greatest thing I ever did.

Riverwalk Ranch is a great facility. A lot of the past clients who complain on here are usually the ones who did not take the program serious and I can guarantee that they’re not sober. I am a year sober because of this place. I want to thank the staff for taking their time out to work with me. Especially Karen the case manager she was very hard on me and I didn’t understand why but now I get it. Thank you guys again.

Riverwalk has helped a few people I know get clean and stay clean. This facility shows that they care about their clients during treatment and after treatment. I would highly suggest this place to anyone struggling with addiction.

Great place. The staff is friendly and helpful. The other clients are a huge part of your recovery. The actual facility is amazing. You will have roommates which become your best buddies. Their sober living houses are nice and the manager of the houses really cares and is super understanding.
