Robert E. Cantu, M.D., Austin TX

Dr. Cantu is one of the best psychiatrists in Austin, Texas. He has been helping his patients for a very long time. I first saw him when he was at St. David’s Hospital in 2000. His prices may have gone up since 2000, because he is good at what he does. I don’t know about his other patients, but for me, he was always willing to help. Plus, he is a funny guy l, who takes his work seriously, and not himself.

Dr. Cantù is an exceptional doctor. He doesn’t miss a beat. From diagnosis to healing. His demeanor and communication is what you wish for when seeing a new physician. I look forward to keeping healthy and becoming better educated to do so. He’s the guy you want to see!

Dr. Cantu is a wonderful Doctor who really helps people. His initial visit is expensive, and believe me, you get what you pay for, Dr. Cantu does not cut corners at all. He has helped me out greatly and I would recommend him to anyone. Thanks Dr. Cantu!

Rock bottom worst psychiatrist out there. Check out his yelp if you are still considering. Because I found knowlegable psychiatrists who worked with me to explain personality types after my experience with Cantu, I learned the Cantu is unempathetic with overt narcissistic personality disorder (check out YouTube videos on NPD—you will run from him!) who thinks he holds the keys to your life and it’s outcome. Steer clear! Especially if you are suicidal. He’ll send you over the edge

Dr. Cantu is so smart. Seriously! He is a good man & treats me like a human being. He has helped me so very much. If your at a point in your life where everyday is getting harder. Dr. Cantu is the best psychiatrist I have ever come across. Thanks to him I was able to sort out my medication and kick a long lasting addiction to xanax. He absolutely helped me put my life back on track. More importantly, he was there for me and my father when I was going through some pretty rough patches, even without us having an appointment. Cantu is extremely knowledgeable - I wouldn't trust anyone else with my medication.
