Bought an RC car for my son, got home and it wouldn’t turn on. I called less than 24 hours after the purchase and the store refused to let me return it because I opened it (how else would I know it didn’t work?). They are making me deal with the manufacturer to return so now I’ve had to ship this thing off to Canada to the company who makes it and it’s been a huge pain. I do not recommend purchasing anything from this store that may need to be returned or else you won’t see your money again. Now I’m out money and my son is car. They’ve completely lost my business.

Wonderful store! Great kids book collection, best boys clothes and we always load up for my daughter.

The worst customer service I’ve ever experienced and the two rudest old ladies that hover, harass, and speak to my young children rudely in front of me rather than speaking to me. Not to mention being asked to pay a fee to try on shoes. What a joke. I’m surprised this store is still in business. After spending money on dance clothes and shoes in this store, I’ll be taking my money elsewhere.

It is insane how they discriminate against anyone that walks in with a stroller. I have shopped and spent $100’s, if not $1000+ in this store. Never again. Sure I understand loss prevention, but they are downright chasing away paying customers. I’ve experienced this multiple times and witnessed them do this to anyone and everyone with a stroller or wagon. I’m done.

I walked in with a stroller, never greeted, looked up and down and given a look of disgust. Woman immediately behind me without one, kindly greeted with a smile by the same woman that gave me an awful look and told about some sale.

The way they stalk and follow you in the store is seriously crazy and blatant harassment. Never once asked if I needed help with anything. The second I sat a massive pop toy on top of my stroller so I could have a hand to look at something else (literally sat across the top bar of the stroller so to push it again I’d have to pick it back up). I was immediately offered assistance. Yet when I was ready to check out, it took forever to get someone to the register for me to pay. Funny. Maybe you should invest in baskets for your customers.

We are small business owners ourselves and frequent downtown McKinney and this was one of our favorite stores to shop as they have cute toys + some of my favorite boy boxer briefs. I love supporting small businesses, shopping local, etc.but the way this place makes paying customers feel like criminals, no thanks. I’ll happily take my business elsewhere.

The second we walked in the store I instantly felt uncomfortable. The staff was watching us and following us around the whole time. We spent over $120 on baby clothing, and the staff was looking in our strollers and checking our son to see if we had stolen anything. I almost turned around and returned everything we bought just because I am disgusted by the stuff behavior and don’t want to support that company ever again. We thought the exact same way in their sister store maimee lou. How do you have a kids store where they do not let kids touch anything? I will never be going back to support that store, and all of my parent friends will be no notified of our experience.

I would give this store negative stars if I could simply based upon the rudest behavior I have ever encountered while trying to spend money at a merchant! The cashier followed me all over the store while I was trying to shop. She was not only unacceptably and completely rude, but she kept looking in my stroller to make certain I wasn’t shoplifting. Even after I had her ring over $100 in newborn merchandise she loudly told the other clerk to look in my stroller before I left the store. Unbelievable! I will NEVER spend another penny in either of these stores. I live in McKinney and will make sure that all of my young Mom group will know the humiliating and rude behavior of this staff!

Very rude clerk today. We stood at the counter in front of her for a full 5 minutes today without any kind of acknowledgment. She was on the phone and never once looked at us etc.when she hung up the phone she addressed someone who came up after us. When we said “we were leaving “ that is when she actually looked at us. It didn’t help that she kept looking at us when we first walked into the store - don’t know what that was about. Will not go back. We wanted to shop local but after that we just bought the item on Amazon for less. Their loss
