Rockin' R River Rides, New Braunfels TX

Water levels were too low. Staff seemed improperly informed about conditions. Had no way to keep track of guests to assure their safety. Will not return. Not a pleasant experience.

I don't know if a simple review is enough.

But it is what, at the least, can do. The character of the manager here was amazing. The staff we met was wonderful.
I really appreciated how excited and loving they were of my dog too.

I had a rough health complication on the river today.
Got separated from my raft.
Not a fun time!

I was really over stimulated and over scared/stressed.

In intense pain and panicking.
Everybody was so kind and gracious.they came and picked us up.
Didn't force me into a hospital trip I couldn't afford.
Some incredible family let me walk on their property and got me help.
I was a complete mess and bless them all for being so kind and gracious.
It was so embarrassing for me. And they all took it with grace and compassion. Gave me a safe environment to calm down. It was a very new and frightening event.
We were met without judgement, only a desire for help from everybody.

They got us safely back to our car and thankfully my hotel was right across the road. So I was able to safely get taken care of and rest/recover the rest of the evening.

Yes, this is how you SHOULD treat people. But that doesn't remove any validity from their considerate and selfless actions.

Seriously, these people deserve so much praise on character alone.

But it's also one of the only companies I float with because I've always felt safe and not like a cash bag.

This section of the Guadalupe River is pretty calm. With low water levels it's slow going. No rapids or fast spots. Just a 3-4 hr long lazy meander. We had a great time & the staff at Rockin R were all great! Shuttle service was fast, and the get in & get out points weren't hard to manage. There were lots of slippery rocks, though.

Nice place to enjoy for a whole day in flowing water … per person approx 40$ for tube or raft. Worth trying once

We had an absolutely horrific experience at the end of our float at the Huaco location. The most unprofessional employees of any business we have EVER encountered. We were cussed & screamed at.

We had two in our party have to swim back up river to look for a missing tube full of their belongings and we were treated completely awful for waiting on them to return where they could find us. Then Jimmy completely lost her mind on us when she overheard a conversation about her RUDE request for us to get out of the way (we were in no one’s way)

She continued to berate our group up until the very end.

She recruited Dustin in her dramatics and he started yelling and cussing at our party before EVER asking our side of ANYTHING. He was completely disrespectful

Both employees are the epitome of AWFUL customer experience. We will NEVER EVER use Rockin R again.

Floating the River just after Reopening. COVID-19 kept everyone indoors. There was hardly anyone floating the River.
