Rockland Insurance Agency, Richmond TX

If you go with this company make sure you know when it's your renewal time and be proactive. On the 1st renewal I had to do some repair work for insurance renewal and Rockland did not inform me until a few days before my policy was set to expire. These folks are bad when it comes to communicating answering emails and advising when your policy needs attention.
On one occasion they were sending my policy and personal information to an email that wasn't mine.
I hear they are working from home, perhaps they are enjoying a little too much of The Price is Right.

They find cheap home insurance but they don't try to build a relationship. Email communication only and even then, I have to push multiple people to get a response. Also, no follow up when insurance expires. My home insurance expires in ten days and no one has reached out to me.

Very attent people and very professional. Very delicate people with there work. Very understanding and easy going. Helped me a lot with my situation. I 100% recommend.

Still haven't heard back. Called twice but agent did not take my call. I was told to wait for quote in my email. I have yet to receive the email or a call back.

I like to spend my money within my community. These people have been very helpful to cater to my homeowners insurance needs. Never tried to oversell me & tailored to my needs within my budget.

I would have to agree with Ced, Dropped the ball on my renewal also. They are no longer at this address and working from home. They first said it was my flood policy that had lapsed, then my homeowners. They told my 60 year old wife she needed to climb a ladder on our two story house and take pictures of the roof to get coverage. If you call, you get put on hold as their service tries to transfer you to someone's living room and you never get through. Used to be a great place, but the working at home thing isn't working out. Really disappointed that they are putting me through this.

Edit. I might have thanked you all for what I thought was handled but actually wasn’t. My policy was not renewed and a force was put on after calling and emailing numerous times. Between the Mortgage company and I your office was notified when the mortgage company changed. I sent all information and the ball was still dropped. Maybe I should screen shot the notice. Maybe a phone call from your office to say it wasn’t alright. I guess that’s too much to expect. Fastest you all ever responded was too this review lol. I STAND FIRM 1 STAR!

I use to shop around every year but have not had to since I switched to Rockland after referred by a coworker. Jonathan and his staff have taken out the hassle and are always direct and responsive.

Saved me quite a bit of money on my homeowner's insurance with better deductible and all very pleased with them.

I was paying way too much on homeowner's insurance. My neighbor told me about Rockland and they cut my annual bill in half. I never had to file any claims, so I can't speak to that, but I certainly saved some money.

Called these guys back in June to renew my home owners insurance. It's now August 10th and I just found out that my insurance EXPIRED. I contacted Rockland and the lady said that it's not their fault it expired and that they can not reinstate it. No phone call, no email. NOTHING. So, now I have to shop around for a new company since apparently I can't rely on Rockland to renew my policy every year.

Very friendly and efficient Agency. They always find the best deals for you and very prompt service as well.

I was partnered with Rockland by my Mortgage lender and they have been very nice the few times I have had contact with them.

I like that everything can be done online and does not require face-to-face appointments.

This makes it easier for me given my heavy work schedule.
