Roma's Italian Restaurant reviews
16 This place is a mystery. I have eaten their many times and every time something negative stands out. This time, I ordered a pizza to go. It tasted great, but the half of the crust was soggy and limp and the rest was on point. They told me to be there in 15 minutes and I was early. The pizza was cold. I read reviews and I see the same theme; pretty good with a glaring exception. Inconsistent with no attention to detail. Sounds like poor management.
Still a top restaurant in Beeville, but you don't get what you pay for.
Wait time was long. We came during rush hour.
First time visiting the restaurant. Service was great, entrees were excellent. Prices were reasonable. Will definitely come back to try everything.
Food was amazing I have no complaints. Well for sure come back. I'm happy I picked Romas for my father's day dinner
It is rare I can afford to eat at Roma's since they are a bit expensive. However when I can it is well worth it. The food there is top notch and a great value with the larger servings size you get combined with the quality.
Our first visit wasn't all that great, but we've since visited multiple times and are now repeat customers.
Excellent food and comparable prices; service could be better, but the owner picks up the slack and makes it right. Great local gem.
How do they keep their doors open? Huge portions, low cost, fast service, and text book cuisine?
One of the reasons why I don’t care to eat in Beeville. There is no such thing as a family owned restaurant anymore.
First off server a young woman says “We don’t have time to make pizzas we are too busy for that. ” “We don’t have any bread or salads. ” If that wasn’t enough to keep trying they have their A/C vent drip fluid into my meal. Here comes the icing to this review, I go up to pay for the ticket that we never received to be charged for salads, bread and the meal that was taken from table after being spoiled. I replied “there was no bread and no salad and not paying for a meal I did not eat. ” The lack of communication and common sense was strongly felt in this restaurant. Will not be returning as why Beeville will keep failing and falling into a downward spiral of distrust and disaster.
“We have no food but we are going to charge you for food we did not serve you and food that was spoiled. Have a nice day. ”
I havent been here in awhile.but the sauce tasted different in both the Venita and Marinara sauce.the Venita sauce was really watered down
The raviolis and lasagna was amazing! However the side salad lettuce was old. The waiter never came back to refill our drinks. On dessert menu request, never came back to take a dessert order. We payed an left!
Great food at this restaurant! Had Supreme pizza and an order of lasagna for the family. Great taste on both. Pizza crust was spot on, toppings were great and fresh. Lasagna came with a small salad. Definitely a great value! Oh, last but not least, staff was great as well.
We went up to pay our check. Shecrangvit up. I questioned what was 10.99. We ordered large Supreme pizza, 2 ice teas and house salad. She apologized to us said customer before paid our ticket by mistake. That doesn't mean we are going to pay there ticket. Considering it was more than our ticket. She expected us to pay extra 10.99 for something we did not order. I still think we were charged incorrectly.
I ordered take-out but couldn't help notice the cleanliness of the restaurant. It looks like a nice place to dine in. Food was good:) Staff was friendly.
Best Italian food I have ever had in my life. Rolls are so amazing too! The waitress was so kind and friendly and made us feel so welcomed. Roma's Italian Restaurant is now my FAVORITE place to eat! The Restaurant was immaculate and clean and beautiful!
We went there for the first time and probably won't return. The waitress had no personality and no care about anything. The salad was wilted and brown. The dinner portions are large but have so much sauce you have to dig to find the pasta. The marinara and bread were good, but the cream sauce and meatballs were very bland. The chicken breast had absolutely no seasoning and tasted freezer-burned. We ordered the cheese ravioli off the kids menu, it was $9.99 for only two ravioli in the dish. They don't have booster seats so my two year old sat in the chair with the table at his nose.
Salads were fresh, clean facility, and large portions. Had to take half to go, which I hardly ever do.
The meals and rolls were great, the salad should not have been served! It was brown and slimy. I told the waitress and she said "yes I know". I would of thought she would have said she would have them replaced, but she didn't. Very disappointed in that. It was around 1: 15 p.m. But since it was Saturday I paid dinner prices. The last time I eat there which had been awhile due to I don't live in Beeville the salad was almost as bad. My sister that was with me and my she does live there said their salad always aren't the best. That's not good. The owner needs to take care of this problem!
