3Sharon Murphy had discriminated against my daughter in law and my self, in being ageist kept referring to me as a grandmother for some odd reason. And the unacceptable manor in which she referred to her staff was mind blowing. Will be taking complaint to higher ups.
“RMHC gives a family with a sick child what they need most — each other” this only applies if you don’t have a Background.
My wife wasn’t even aloud to stay at the Ronald McDonald home just because I didn’t pass background even though this was years ago.
Since we are married we applied together but I wanted my wife to be able to stay close to our daughter since we are driving from Austin to Temple daily since our daughter is in the NICU so wanted her to apply separately and her stay in town while I went back home to work and take our kids to school but they said they couldn’t allow that.
We went to the Ronald McDonald House in Temple, Texas after the Christmas holiday on our day to serve the surrounding communities at Grace Christian Center. There we took down all the Christmas trees and decorations and helped to clean the house for the families that come there to live for a period of time when their children are sick. They have a very nice set up for the families. They only charge them $10 per night and they provide them with all the comforts of home away from home. Great charity.
