NEVER GO HERE. HORRIBLE.

We popped a tire and pulled up about 15 mins to close. We weren’t expecting full service. We just wanted to borrow a wrench and we’re willing to pay. They refused, and closed up, locking the gate up front. Then less than two mins later, another dude pulls up, and he is more helpful that the actually people working there. They opened the gate for him to roll a tire in, and amicably talked with him, whereas they gave my dad short answers. Note: this guy was white and we are Hispanic.

Our tire was flat, the last of the air wasted on the drive to this place. The two men sat in their car out front for about five minutes before leaving us stranded there.

So, closed early, denied service, helped out someone else who arrived after us, and left us stranded there. If I could give less than a star, I would.

Rude and unfriendly people without a spec of human decency. As a person who works in customer service and has been on both sides of situations like these, I am appalled.

The absolute worst place to get a tire.bought a used tire for 75.had it for a day, went flat. I took it back up there for the "30 day WARRANTY" and was told they don't cover nails in the tires.oddly enough that was the reason why I had the first one replaced.then paid a additional $25 for a patch.woke up next morning and the same tire flat. I JUST HOPE IT GETS GENTRIFIED AND TURNED INTO A STARBUCKS OR A 24HR FITNESS. #sorrynotsorry

Don’t come here. Their balancing machine isn’t working. And they still take a job screw everything up and take no responsibility.

Terrible place to go if you’re having any kind of tire problems. I went a week ago- was given a tire that had a nail in it. Tried calling and getting in touch to no avail. Went back in a few days later and they “patched” the tire which immediately went flat again the next day. On top of the ongoing issue, Ron is a very rude and unprofessional man who will try and get extra money out of you even when there’s a “warranty” that they offer in case a tire is faulty. Bad service, rude people, and lost money. Save yourself the trouble and go somewhere reputable like Discount Tire or a freakin’ Firestone. Hope this place closes.

Mostly unfriendly people who never smile. Some are better than others, but they all just usually seem like their in a bad mood. I’ve gone here probably 15 times over the past few years, and the price has gone (to patch a tire) from $20 to $25 to $30.

The only good thing about them is that they are fast. But the last time I went, they fixed my flat, and then told me AFTER it was fixed that their credit card system was down, and they could only take cash, so I had to let them hold my ID while I went to an ATM to get cash, so it cost me another 15 minutes out of my day. They could have told me BEFORE they did the work, but they didn’t want to lose out on a sale.

And they overinflate your tires 100% of the time. They never check PSI after a patch. My tires are supposed to be filled to 32 PSI, and they are usually over 50 when I leave the repair shop.

About two weeks ago, I went to Tires for You, on Lamar and Denson. They fixed my flat for free, but it took an hour.

I prefer to support local Mom & Pop businesses, but I will never go back to Ron’s again.

We went because of low air in the tire and a nail. We wanted a patch but they said it is a waist of money. So we plugged it. I like there accuracyand honestly. Good place to go

Do not go to Rons Tire and Battery, my wife went there for tires, 175/55/15. They said no problem, it will be $160 for 2 used installed and balanced, ok half of new, great, no they installed 155/65/15s! She didnt know, she trusted they would be rite, well when it came time to pay the said CASH only, they made her walk in 90+ degrees over a mile up the hill on MTK, in not so comfortable shoes.when she got back with $160 they scribbled out the 160 and told her its $200. She only took 160 so they wouldnt release the car unless $40 more, guess what they took the card this time. THEY 100% TOOK ADVANTAGE OF HER! We went back to let them know and was given the run around, we will replace them just let us get them in, 3 months still no tires the tires have become weather cracked, have to put air in everyday, they still say they ordered but havent seen anything. Asked for refund was told NO!
This is a direct act of fraudulent service, if they didnt have the tires they should have said so, not put my wife in danger, my transmission goes into limp mode, speedometer is off! Now i have to go to court! Oh amd when i ask for owners number, they refuse to give it to me because they know they robbed her and may have kept the money

After they charged $85 for a used tire. My uncle left his phone there at the counter while he was paying for the tire we leave get to out destination looking for the phone calling it can't find it anywhere so we go back up there told them the phone was left. They looking around then say oh is this it. It was sitting on a whole different counter where we were not even at. If they knew it was not their phone they saw that he left it when we were calling it to find it why didn't the dude pick up to say yes you left your phone.

Dishonest business. Only go here if you have money to burn and appreciate being spoken to like you were born yesterday.
