Their commitment to no-kill is truly commendable, unlike other local shelters that use as many “accounting tricks” to omit as many deaths and euthanasias as possible

Words can't express how proud I am of the shelter. The joy of giving pets a SECOND chance to feel loved again. The staff, volunteers and Mara The endless support they give and get back is endless I look forward to many more miles stones for this shelter.

Amazing shelter! This place goes above and beyond and cares for each animal on a really personal level. They are devoted to the care and adoption of each animal and will go through great lengths to ensure each pet finds their forever home that is safe and secure.

We have adopted 4 dogs and a cat from this shelter and have fostered several dogs and cats too. There is not a better team than this one. The shelter is clean and tidy, and the staff is wonderful. They are kind and they genuinely love what they do. The animals always come first with them, and not all shelters can say that. Thank you for all you do, especially for bringing me my Luna, Gertie, Phoebe, Butters and Phineas. I could never repay y’all for them.

I saw several comments here about the shelter and can't help but wonder if they are true. Rosenberg Animal Shelter is right across the street from Fort Bend County Animal Services. People get them mixed up a lot.
THESE TWO SHELTERS have a day and night difference.

As far as I know, this shelter has become No Kill and FBCAS is not.

My experience with the shelter when I adopted my two fur babies was great! All the volunteers and staff showed so much compassion and love to them. The citizens of Rosenberg should be proud of the hard work and passion that went into becoming a No-Kill shelter!

The shelter is so amazing now with the new Shelter Director! They have great new programs and staff that are helpful. The animals have great exposure and so many more adoptions! Highly recommend!

This is the most wonderful no-kill animal shelter in the state of Texas. I recently adopted a dog from them and the care they provide their animals is phenomenal - both dogs and cats. They have an awesome director and staff. If you are looking to adopt rest assured you are adopting from a facility that cares about each and every animal!

Rosenberg Animal Shelter is the only official No Kill animal shelter in all of Fort Bend County!

I'm so proud of the meaningful and life-saving programs that have been implemented at Rosenberg shelter since the city resolved to become No Kill! In fact, they have now been officially No Kill for more than a year now and that is a phenomenal accomplishment that we should all applaud!

With Mara Hartsell as the director, Rosenberg Shelter has become a shining beacon of light in our area. She believes in and follows the proven No Kill model and treats every animal as an individual. The No Kill policies that she has put into place have resulted in complete transparency with the community. Her consistent monthly reports ensure that all citizens know the outcome of every animal in the shelters care.

The creative marketing that the shelter uses on Facebook and other mediums is impressive and has proven to be a crucial element towards the increase in adoptions and fosters. Volunteers have flocked to Rosenberg Animal Shelter because they know that the animal they help take care of today, will still be alive tomorrow and that means the world to volunteers!

I commend Rosenberg Animal Shelter for their hard work, compassion, customer service, and their dedication to life-saving programs!

Please go to Rosenberg Animal Shelter and - adopt, foster or volunteer! You will always be welcomed with a smile!

Came out in a timely manor outside the city limits to pick up a stray. Both the guy that answered the phone and the catcher were polite and helpful.

Never picked up 3 dogs that are trying to kill my cats. I called them twice and they still haven't gotten dogs
