Ross Dress for Less, Pflugerville TX

Poor customer service. Staff seemed grumpy and unwelcoming. I bought a large item from their and when I got home I realized the item sku was missing. I went back to the store to ask for it. The store's cashier Brittany stated "I normally leave it on the counter for the customer. If they don't take it. I throw it away". Luckily I remembered and went back to the store or else I would have been up creek without a paddle. Bad idea to throw away someone's sky.

Understaffed, which creates long lines. There was only one cashier. I came back an hour later, the line was still to the back of the store. They don't have a queue set up to direct people to wait in line. So, those waiting block access to multiple aisles for other customers.
Store always seems to be in disarray.

Dumpy store, very disorganized. The inventory, (ladies dresses) was JAMMED into racks. Looks trashy. Clothes are sometimes poor quality. Check carefully.

The staff is ALWAYS rude and in a bad mood. Especially this older Pakistan lady. I felt like she was discriminating me and she raised her voice at me.

I give this a 3 because you might wait 40 min in line which makes you question if your deal was worth it. I have left more than a few times when the line has wrapped around to the back of the store. Pro tip go early to avoid a wait.

Retail therapy.you some beauty home decor at great prices. I’ve recently moved to a new apartment and been making trips to Ross, Marshall’s and TJ MAXx. Love their home decor and you find some really cute furniture too.

I feel bad for the employees. The store owners must be cutting hours and hires to allow the store to be completely run down and making workers only work the registers. About one third of the merchandise was on the ground. Every single aisle was a complete disaster. I have been shopping at this location for several years and the store has been this way for at least the last year. Dirty, messy and disorganized. Tripping hazards are a huge liability and this store is on the verge of getting someone severely hurt. As you can see in the image, the rug section could not even be accessible. This photo was taken on a Monday early afternoon. Completely unacceptable. Horrible experience.

The customer service has gone down.

Apparently they got rid of the return line. But no one decided to tell me. While a manager looked at me and 3 cashiers, especially the closest cashier. None bothered to tell me the regular line is for returns.

It was only after 6 people in the regular line got checked out did I ask and was then told.

The person who did my return had never done one. And instead of coming to show her, staff just yelled from across the room while the manager attended a return cart. After several attempts and me offering to help to which I was ignored 3 times to read off the number for her. As the tag was faded and the cashier couldn’t read the numbers or scan the barcode. The cashier knocked my receipt off onto the floor and assuming she gave me my receipt back yet grabbed one lying around when the manager came to finally help her said “we’ll it’s not on this receipt to give the stuff back” that I had to tell them that’s not my receipt and help her find it to get the return done.

Still the closest Ross around but definitely don’t have any expectations for help from staff. Or good help.

The cashier next to where I was checking our rolled her eyes when the lady making a return with her asked to apply it to purchase and ignored her saying bluntly “the amount will go back to your card”

Just a store with few good options. Sometime very reasonable price range products we can find. But my personal picks will be tumblers and kids shoes and baby books, kitchen utensils and decor items.

Today I went to this store 02/06/2023.and it is the only store that has asked me to form so that it will show me, jewelry, there was a woman who did not want to show her name but said her name was jasmine, a woman, with a robust body, with glasses, long hair, and she was very very rude, she said something rude to me, and when it was my turn to show me, she told me again to wait, I don't know who the manager of this store is But I have never come across rude staff at all the Ross's, I was attended to by another woman named Angélica who was also very rude.attention to the manager, train your staff, I could have spoken to the police, but for them to avoid arguing with uneducated people, I wish I could talk to the manager.

I hate these stores. Always dirty and the employees are without care for store or human. Lines are always long.

Love love but don't go on a Saturday, the line it halfway down the stretch of the building to check out

I never know what kind of bargain I'm going to find at Ross. I am always pleasantly surprised about what great deals they have.

Always they have cashiers short and the line so slow and the cashiers slow as well, and today I went to the store I see the manger or whoever the supervisor was shouting and yelling the employees in front of customers

The recent reviews of this place confuse me and I’m wondering if they chose the correct location because this place is a dump. It’s disgusting and the most unorganized Ross I’ve ever seen. There’s also an employee, an Indian woman in her late 40’s, that is horrible. She’s completely rude to customers (to their face) and does not care whatsoever. And she moves at a pace of a snail at the register with the attitude of not caring. So the line is wrapped around the store.
Just go to any other location but this one. There’s a reason there’s a banner on the front of the store saying they’re hiring.

This is the most organized and well-stocked Ross store I have ever been in and I've been a Ross shopper for 20+ years. I'll definitely drive father to this location from now on. The staff was cheerful as well! I ended up buying more than I came in for because they had so many great home decor items, and all displayed so orderly. Nice work!
