Super fast response time, reasonably priced and thorough. Will definitely use them again if need arises.

Root Rooter came out due to water coming up in the shower and the toilet in my house. RR told me I had a problem in a pipe under the house and sent a contract for me to sign authorizing them to do the work to fix it. In the contract was a line that said I had seen a video showing the problem pipe, but that wasn’t true. When I called RR and asked for a link to the video, the employee became very agitated and told me I needed to send them $500 to view it. I don’t recommend this company for any plumbing work.

Dawson the service technician was excellent. He was knowledgeable, informed, and friendly. He knew what was wrong and explained it to me in great detail. Is work was done and then he tested it three times to make sure it worked as it was supposed to. I would recommend him highly.

My water heater went out and they charged $99 for a consultation and basic issue fee. When the plumber came out he said he was going to charge $850 to change the valve for better drainage. I said it was too expensive and would call other places and they brought it down to $635. I realized after the fact I unfortunately got overcharged. Another plumber told me I didn't need a new valve and all the guy did was restart my water heater. Make sure you do your research on prices before calling them. I just wasn't restarting my water heater correclty now I'm out $500 more than I should be!

The repair man was very nice abd professional. He gave me some great pointers for the future.

Super expensive just to unclog your drain with a snake try $500 plus outrageous then they stuck a camera in and you can still see Globs of toilet paper meaning they did not totally open the drain in less than 1 hour

On the 1st day I called in my service request. I waited for the plumber to arrive at the scheduled time, but the person who took my order, never actually placed my order for service, so I spent 5 hours waiting for a plumber who had never actually been scheduled.
Day 1 was a 2 rating. I feel i was grosdly over charged, due to the plumber not completely fastening the toilet down or repairing the flange, which was really needed. The day 1 plumber did not come back, but the dispatcher covered for him just before 1 pm, saying he was at lunch. Your scheduling email stated a plumber would be out between 9: 30 am and 11: 30 am, which was day 2. I called back before 1 pm and was told plumber did not come out, since he was at lunch and the time promised was missed. Another plumber came out about an hour later and was very courteous, thorough and was a 5 rating. He was excellent. However, due to experience of the 1st plumber, the dispatcher and the woman taking my original call for service, I most likely will not use Roto Rooter again.

I am very pleased with the service. The response time was great, especially during Thanksgiving. Special thanks to Dawson, he was very professional and thorough. After a plumbing backup, roto-rootered found a leak and sagging pipe. $9k to dig a hole and fix it. Had foundation issues a month later and had a hydrostatic leak test performed after. You guessed it, a leak right at the joint they repaired. Also found two more they did not. These leaks had been there for a while. Did not expect them to find the other two, but the job they did one the first one, come on, they had to tunnel directly under it to get to the repair. I expected better from from a named company. Also, pay $350 for a camera scope of all your pipes before doing any work. It could save you a lot of time and hassle later

Andres Medina came to my house addressing two issues; singing bathroom and clean the drain. He also assisted with providing the services of an excavation estimator. As the excavation expert, David Terry was able to determine the source of the problem. Great job performed by both.

I knew going with a well known company would cost more but I thought it would mean the job would get done with no shortcuts. Unfortunately that was not the case. Lots of short cuts taken to get my water heater up to code. I tried reaching out to their customer service but never heard back. Now I have to hire someone else to help me fix it.

The put a drain pipe right through to my front porch which I found out from other plumbers was a big time short cut bc they would have run it out the other side so it wasn’t an eye sore. Plus, it’s not even straight. They took a vent from my wall with the same long screws and drilled it through the door. I understand the need for the vent, but they should provide their own instead of leaving a huge hole in my wall that I now have to replace with a vent I purchase. Whole thing looks like a DIY gone bad.

I have used Roto Rooter several times and almost all have been great experiences, but something seemed off this time. He said it would be $430 to snake the kitchen sink pipes. After he removed the P trap and removed what was clogging it, I asked him if he could stop there and not snake the pipes. He said it is still going to be $430 so I may swell snake the pipes and proceeded to snake the pipes.

1.) I mean snaking pipes is already dangerous because a pipe can burst inside the concrete slab. So if clearing out the P trap worked, why not leave it there.

2.) And why would the price still be $430 if he only did 10 minutes of work? Why would they not adjust the price if they only emptied the P trap?

Overall i still like Roto Rooter, I just feel like I been “had. ” In that moment.

Steven was awesome! Extremely nice guy, that knocked the service out super quick just in time for my shop to open saving my day! Will definitely be using these guys in the future.

We had a shower handle break off in the middle of the day on Saturday with water spraying everywhere. I called Five plumbers that day, and they were the only ones that responded and could be out there same day.

Andres was incredibly professional, walked me through the options and actually steered me to the less expensive option because it was best for me and my family. Will definitely use them again.

Mario was great. He was able to troubleshoot our plumbing issue with a variety of techniques utilizing caution at every turn. Would recommend.
