Round Rock Barber Shop

Went to Will for a haircut. Didn’t really know what I wanted so he helped me figure it out and it ended up being exactly what I was looking for. Super nice guy, great barber.

I got mediocre haircut. Price definitely expensive for what it is. I wouldn’t come back.

I did not get what I wanted, and I knew immediately when I saw my hair in the mirror. My barber was nice and I wanted to give the cut he gave me a chance, but after letting a day pass to experiment with the style, the haircut he gave me just does not look good.

I asked for a textured fringe with a mid taper. Around an inch of my front bangs were cut off and don’t sit on my forehead at all, even though it’s the most important part of a fringe. I also explicitly stated the length I wanted to have and it’s simply too short. The top of my hair looks about an inch shorter than what I wanted. There’s also no texture to my hair and he said it wasn’t possible because my hair is too straight, but I’ve been to other shops and they pull it off just fine.

The mid taper I received is also uneven on my left and right sides. I noticed it this morning. It doesn’t blend into my hair that well and I can see some weight lines left behind.

I was nice when I initially left the barbershop since I wanted to be hopeful I could make it work, but it’s clear that my haircut is completely wrong. It wasn’t what I wanted at all and it’s disappointing for my first-ever visit. Not worth the $40 I spent.

Still, my barber seemed nice. I won’t name him publicly for privacy and this can be a learning opportunity for him. I won’t be coming back, but I hope this shop does well with its future customers.

First time visiting. Nice folks, cool little place, easy to get to, great cut. I’m fairly new to super short hair so I appreciate a barber that’s knowledgeable enough for me to say “here’s what I like, but do what you think works”.

I’ve had good experiences here before. But after my experience today with Joe, I absolutely will not be going back ever again. I’ll spare the details & just say I had a very simple, concise & polite request for the cut I wanted & was met with near refusal of service, condescension & a cringe level of awkward contriteness…recording setting bad.

Fantastic place, prompt service, great barbers - absolutely will be my new go to in Round Rock!

I made an appointment on line for a haircut the following day at 2: 30 (first available). I put in the remarks “flat top”.

1: 15 min before my appt I get a text the barber can’t do flat tops to reschedule with someone else.

While on line booking is convenient for the barber as well as the customer, had i been able to call and make the appointment OR the barber check his appointments in a timely manner I could have found another shop in that 24hr period. I had arranged my day to be sure I was there at 2: 30. While I appreciate his honesty about his limitations, I’m irritated I wasted my time
2 stars instead of one because he was honest.

It’s always a pleasure getting my hair cut by Will. He does an excellent fade. Will is easy to talk to, but also relaxed. So, if you are one of the people that doesn’t like all the chitchat during your hair cut this is the place to go. Either way you will walk out feeling clean and fresh.

A great place to come in and get a haircut. Friendly people and, more importantly, I got the cut I envisioned when I came in. Eric did a bang-up job. Thanks!

Worst behavior. And too much racism. They don’t know how to treat customers. Never visiting this place again.

Worst haircut I’ve ever gotten. I asked for a low fade into a 4 on top and it looks like he did a 0 on bottom and 4 on top. No blending at all. It looked alright from the front in the shop, but I realized after I had left that he didn’t show me the back. When I got home I used a mirror to look at the back and it looked like a straight up bowl cut. Took out the clippers and buzzed everything with a 3 but it still had a stark line where the “fade” was supposed to be. Took it down to a 2 but it still looks awful. Guess I’ll be wearing a hat for a while until the back and sides grow out enough for a buzz

Awesome barber shop, been going here for 3 years and glad I found them! Will always does a fantastic job on my cut and beard trim, and the place is super chill, conversation flows easily. Super clean with a cool retro feel thanks to the restored original downtown house and classic barber chairs. Highly recommended if you’re in the area looking for some quality barbers! Definitely my favorite regular place in the 30-something years I’ve been getting my hair cut. Thanks y’all!

I have been going to these guys for over a year and have had my hair cut by every one and they have all done an amazing job. Cool relaxed atmosphere with good music and easy conversations with everyone. Been getting my hair cut lately by Will specifically and he has been doing an amazing job. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a new home barber shop
