Roy and Ann Butler Hike and Bike Trail reviews
4 Really love the trails here. Some parts of it are unpaved and some paved. Dog park nearby too and easy access to bridges to get to the other side
Nice green stretches, pretty safe even at or after sunset. And lots of people running and biking. Welcoming and friendly atmosphere
Within a year, the Austin local government has done a great job giving the trails back to the community. Definitely cleaner with significantly less public camping onsite. The trails are clean, well paved, regular water fountains and trash bins along the way. Lots of shade that makes the Texas heat more tolerable during a midday run/walk.
One of my favorite running locations in the U. S. Well maintained trails with great views of the city skyline and Ladybird lake.
Tons of runners out here and an overall outstanding place to get in a morning run.
So lucky to have such a great spot - whether to enjoy myself or to bring friends and family when they visit. Never have a bad time on the trail.
