Why is it so good for bar food? Like seriously, the burgers are awesome and the Korean Chicken Sandwich has no right being that good. I was also impressed with the drinks! I have a rule where I always order an Old Fashioned when I visit a new bar - it's a standard basic cocktail and a really good way to judge how the rest of your cocktails will be. It was an incredible Old Fashioned, and every drink I ordered afterwards absolutely hit the mark. It's got a nice atmosphere to it and it's always nice to have a spot for the community.

Ok, I arrived for brunch today around 1230pm. It was regularly busy, not much pepole. We have a waiter with a girl Santa dress like in a rush attitude.he arrives and asks what we want for drinks? He says the menu code is there.he left and came back and asked again, "Are you ready? " I say yes, we want this and that, and this drink for me looks good, and he says it is our fav and is a season drink, perfect, I say.coffee for my friend arrived, then the food.the food was good. My drink hasn't arrived yet. I ask 2 different servers for my drink and nothing. I'm almost finished my plate and the original waiter came and asked me which one was the drink I wanted? I say you're the waiter, and you told me the name and description. I don't remember the name.he left and came back and told me sorry is not available and will be NO Charge? Lol, no charge for the drink I didn't have? And he left. Terrible attitude like he was doing us a favor.have some self-esteem and be polite and know how to apologize, man. I used to be a waiter and bartender. I understand completely, but you don't, Mr. I will never go back again, and I will share my terrible experience. Thank you.

Roy G’s has always been a favorite amongst my friends + myself! So it was a no brainer where I’d go for my birthday brunch this year. Our server (forgot their name) was absolutely amazing and so was the food + atmosphere!

Highly recommend and will always come back! Also the cheese fries are EVERYTHING!

Do NOT go to this bar. Bartenders are selfish and care about no one! They need new management or ownership! Never seen anything like it! Lawsuits are starting next week!

Was hoping they still had $5 burger dinner deal up to 6 pm but unfortunately that must have gone away. We still enjoyed our burgers though. The fries are so fresh and always hot! Our server was nice as well.

I have eaten several times in this place and the times I have gone I have loved it. The attention has been the right one, the drinks are delicious and the food more.

The prices are in line with the quality of the products.

I’ve been coming here since they first opened and it has never been less than impressive. I always get the fried chicken pickle brined sandwich and my friend the Roy-Al. JUICY, tender, full of flavor. Every. Time. The waitstaff always makes you feel welcomed. Big Muscles T took care of us tonight. Patient and so helpful. Super cool dude. This place never disappoints! Delicious food and reasonable prices.

Well.the menu doesn't exist if you don't have a "QR code reader" on your phone. Hostess couldn't be bothered with, tell me about your specialities.

The K-luv Chicken Sandwich was seriously the best chicken sandwich I've had in a long time

Service was quick. We shared cheese fries and they were good. Did not get any drinks. It is mainly a bar, not a lot of room. They had a decent menu, but nothing tickled our fancy.

The rainbow shots and cocktails were really good! The buffalo wing bites and the white queso dip was delicious

Roy Gs is one of my favorite spots to go to for food and drinks in Oaklawn. Staff is always attentive and friendly and the drinks and food are always consistently wonderful and never disappoint. Erin, the bartender is an angel and definitely one of my favorite bartenders in Dallas!

My family and I had the most amazing time here. Tee and Caleb were the best, provided the most amazing service and was so kind and fun. Will definitely be returning. Professional, funny and super laid back. Love it here

The food and drinks were amazing! My friends and I had a wonderful time there. Our server Celeb was the best! I can’t wait to come back. Btw try the buffalo bites they’re fantastic!

Really fantastic brunch. The various eggs benedict are delicious, as is their brunch punch!

2023 Update:
Roy G's has really gone downhill in the past few years. I don't know if they hired a new chef or what, but previously delicious dishes here are no longer good. Roy G's used to be one of the best places in Dallas for eggs benedict dishes. Their fried, crispy breakfast potatoes were amazing. However, now their benedict dishes come with undercooked English muffins, poorly-cooked meats, and soggy potatoes. I'm not sure exactly what went wrong, but something has horribly changed for Roy G's in the past year or so.
