Royal Inn, Brownwood TX

The owners seemed very suspicious of their guest and it was uncomfortable, but mainly they put 2 big people and a baby in a room with 2 tiny beds very uncomfortable!

Room was decent. I stayed for about 2 months. The managers worked with me on weekly rates and never gave me problems. I definitely recommend

This place is a hole in the wall motel it's cheap but there is no coffee or breakfast.
Housekeeping is none existent until the day of check out. So if you need anything you have to go and get it yourself. The landlordowner is a extremely rude male. The female is nice but in a silent subdued type manner. The rooms are decent sized however the bed is about as comfortable as a slab of concrete with nails stabbing out of it. The male came to our room 2 hrs before check out pestering us asking if we were going to stay or leave. My husband and I will NEVER be spending any more money there. EVER.

Room was decent sized but the bed was hard and uncomfortable. The top of the fridge was filthy as well as the table. In addition, the table was barely together and extremely unstable. Housekeeping is clearly not doing their job. The image is of the rag used to wipe off the table.

I would definitely consider other accomodations.

Oh, and it's a whole different level of nasty when there is mold growing in the coffee maker.

Update: the place is relatively unchanged.

2nd update: This place has gotten even worse. Housekeeping doesn't even bother checking on room supplies any more and they removed the coffee maker entirely.

The bed is as comfortable as a slab of concrete.

The customer service is atrocious. The male is rude as hell while the female is nice in a sort of absent way.

Not coming back here for any reason and I suggest, strongly, other travellers go elsewhere.

The beds had stains, the rooms were not all that clean and the front Desk personnel were rude and can't talk much English.

Clean no frills hotel. Staff was very accommodating and friendly. Pets are welcome with a small fee

I dont understand why you cant give someone a refund after the key doesnt work in the first room, and then they show up at 12pm to wake up us. 4-5 hours after check in to make us leave.saying thats all we paid for.that doesnt make sense.to top it off Rita was rude about it all.so, ive come to believe they just wanted to scam me out of my $75 dollars during these already hard economic times.

I stayed here with my girlfriend for only about 4 hrs. We came in at 6 in the morning, and payed for an entire day. The landlord/owner was banging on our door at 11 am telling us "we need to leave". The owner wanted to charge us an extra $20 so we could finish our stay. Very Very unprofessional and indecent. We are having a housing problem at the moment, and for the owners of the place to continuously be rude and disrespectful and to scam us of our money is a whole other level of sorry. They took down my review, so i hope that helps other guest understand to not come and stay here.

Not change bed and fire alarm not setting up and in shower not safe thank you have good days
