Royal Oaks Country Club, Houston TX

We want to give this place negative stars because of their unprofessional event coordinator Allyson, but the option is not available.

Allyson took forever to reply to our email (like once every 3 weeks) and was never available for a phone call, yet she told us to set an appointment to get a hold of her, when she was too busy to respond to our emails and phone calls.

One time she said she couldn’t return our phone call because she had to leave the office before 5pm to pick up her sons at daycare or else they would charge her by the minutes.

After making us wait for her responses for a few months, she said there is a chance the club was going to have construction during our wedding day.

But it doesn’t look like the club has any construction as of today.

We wasted months of planning, because of Allyson, but glad that we experienced this in the beginning before putting down the deposit and committing to have our wedding here.

Fabulous. First time visit with family that just joined. Wonderful food and service in restaurant. Beautiful grounds. Hope to go back next visit to Houston.

Great course with greens rolling perfect. In spite of recent rain, the bunkers were actually perfect. I had a great time. The facilities in general are really nice.

If I could give zero star I would. The security at the gate today was very rude. For a community like this, I was surprised to see how unprofessional the security is.

I love to play tennis, take drills, and come for yummy drinks & great food items. The pool and the camps my kids enjoyed when they were little.

Sweet spot. Very good facilities and the clubhouse. Pricing is consistent with the other clubs that offer golf. Tennis membership is a relative bargain, if you consider the quality of the courts. UPDATE: Still very good.

Poor communication with the catering and events director, Allyson Brown. I inquired about having my wedding ceremony and reception there. I have been trying to set up a tour with no success. Allyson either does not care or refuses to respond to emails. I’m glad this poor communication was discovered prior to booking anything, I can’t imagine how frustrating this would be had we already paid.

The place is beautiful, the food was delicious, the service was great, and the staff was very friendly.

Great location, super central and well maintained. Service is too notched. Highly recommended.

I clean roofs here to Katy memorial roofing and I hold the record for over 32 home in this neighborhood. And I have to say have one of the best looking golf courses ever seen and staff are pretty punctual about landscaping.

This was one of the best golf courses i have ever played on. Looking forward to hopefully play there again some day. The staff was very friendly and helpful from helping with your clubs to directions to get around the clubhouse. Thank you all

Staffs here are very friendly. I’m taking golf courts here. I’m enjoying everything here. Great place! Everything is well organized and clean.
