Royal Tailors, Dallas TX

I have brought in everything from scrub pants to bridesmaids dresses. They have all turned out great! The customer service is wonderful and the quality of their work is very good!

Been going to Royal Tailors since 2016. I’ve gotten jeans, work slacks, and dresses done - I always leave satisfied!

I bought my first lehenga choli for two occasions: Diwali at work, and a friend's wedding in India. Unfortunately, the best matching set was too long and too big in both the skirt and blouse. As well, I did not do great store research and tailoring was not offered on site.

I then did some Googling and called around DFW and Royal tailor was the 1st to respond and said they worked on Indian garments. I arrived a little after 5 on a Monday and was promptly seen. Also, the store is easy to find with plenty of parking!

At first, they said that getting it done in a week and one day (for Diwali) would be $90 total. They usually have a standard longer turnaround. But then once we did the fitting the tailor assured me that I did not need to do the expensive hemming at the bottom of the skirt, only have it taken in, and wear the proper height shoes. Also, the blouse would be easily fitted with a panel changed. Total: $40 (plus tip).

Sure enough, I called the following Tuesday, drove down, and it all fit perfectly. The 2 pictures show my trying on at the store, and then wearing it proudly at the wedding reception. I got so many compliments at both events and never worried about slippage! I would recommend them for any tailoring!

Best tailers in Dallas, love this place they have rescued me from a few wardrobe malfunctions, staff is so helpful and friendly.

They could've done better. I'm not sure if I'm willing to give it another go. I think I might, since it's close to home

Absolutely ridiculous pricing. Brought a dress in that cost $70. All they had to do was take a half an inch of them hem. I should have confirmed the pricing before leaving it there because I come back to find out that it cost $50. Absolutely absurd. I’ve never paid that much for an alteration in my life let alone the most simple job.

We’ve been using Royal tailors for two years and without a hitch Claudia and her husband have done incredible work for my family. Enjoy my conversations every time I pick up our clothes and will not go anywhere else!

Prices are outrageous regardless of skill set. I got a basic alteration and the job was done poorly. I could’ve done a better job by hand at home. I got an inch removed on straps and it cost nearly $30! What’s more ridiculous is that she folded the sleeves and sewed it closed, so now my “little black dress” has little black lumps lol. On top of the poor service, her turn around time is 1 week minimum. Save yourself time and money. Take it to Sunshine Cleaners. Their service is good, a third of the cost and turn around time is 48 hours. Thank me later.it’s worth the drive.

This place is great! I needed a bridesmaid dress altered, it was done so quickly and didn't cost an arm and a leg. The dress also looked soooo much better once it was tailored to my shape.

Royal Tailors is by far the best Tailor I have come across down in Texas. I have had multiple pairs of pants hemmed, stitched, and altered. The staff is really friendly and always gives you suggestions and what will be needed. A+. Would definitely recommend to anyone needing a tailor in the Dallas area!

They measured and hemmed my tux pants perfectly in 24 hrs and both of the people who helped were exceptionally nice.

Brought a bridesmaid dress in for alterations. They did a wonderful job, although it was a little pricey - but with tailoring, especially for a formal occasion, you get what you pay for. It was faat, professional, quality work, and they had it done a day before I needed it! Would definitely come back!
