RSH Engineering Inc - Residential & Commercial Inspections, Foundation Inspection reviews
11Highly recommend RSH Engineering and Mathew. Second new build house he inspected for us, found out many issues, that even the builder’s inspector didn’t catch. Very detailed and thorough inspection reports. Also he is an engineer, so thats a major plus. Most Inspection companies do not have certified engineers. We are very glad and happy with Mathews service. Definitely recommend.
Mathew was super thorough with our inspection and did a great job of walking us through the house with his findings. The report itself is very helpful, with photos and descriptions of everything he found. Highly recommend if you are looking to buy a house
I contacted this company with very little time left in my option period after making an offer on a house when we realized there might be roof damage. I reached out to RHS Engineering by email on a late in the day on a Friday afternoon. Our roof inspection was completed the next day on Saturday and the report was submitted by noon on the following Monday. Both the inspection and the report were thorough. The report was well written, professional in appearance, had pictures for each point that was explained, and included recommendations.
Thanks so very much!
After my parents house was crashed into for a second time my folks reached out to Mathew Uncle for help rebuilding. He brought our house up to code and assisted a lot with the insurance company. I wish I could give him more stars than 5. He was extremely patient and kind plus very helpful! If you need an extremely dependable and meticulous person he’s your man!
I had to make a last minute change to our scheduled final inspection date and Matthew was able to accommodate the schedule change. Matthew provided world class service and a very thorough inspection report. Because of his work I now feel better about my home purchase.
Recommend highly. Excellent report and very through. I felt very comfortable with my investment and the engineers advice. It’s money well spent to ensure my family’s safety.
I am really happy with the consulting services Mathew & his team were able to provide us. He'll walk you through any issues he comes across and provide a concise yet thorough explanation of what's going on. I would highly recommend his firm and will contact him again in the future should the need arise.
Initially me & couple of my friends in the community planned to go with regular Home inspector first for Framing & Mechanical inspection. Accidentally met one of my friend and came to know about Mr. Mathew - RSH Engineering multi-phased inspection that he had opted for his house. After reviewing his inspection report and the structural issues/problems pointed out by RSH Engineering changed me & my friends mind to go with Engineer inspection instead of regular home inspector.
Mr. Mathew was very professional & knowledgeable, spent around 3hours of his time for inspecting Framing & Mechanical things of the house and provided solid report with problems and solutions along with 2018 IRC building codes. Report contains critical structural load bearing wall issues with improper load transfer, Triple cut studs more than 75% for plumbing pipes (load bearing wall), some of the Roof rafter support studs where used no#3 Grade wood instead of Grade#2 wood, Nailing missing for head boards across the house, Ducting ran through TJI joist at improper lengths and compromising with load, missing lateral bracings, Brick ledgers, floor leveling, Roof vents, Attic access, Garage shear wall, sole plate not proper landing on concrete floor and identified lot of general issues.
My Builder initially hesitated to fix some of the structural issues reported in the report but Mr. Mathew provided his guidance & support and we worked with the Builder & his Engineer to come to an amicable solution and address major structural concerns.
Really no words, felt so happy for the support and guidance Mr. Mathew had provided when i had a hard push back from the Builder for the reported issues. He educated me the reported issues with Building codes and provided necessary information to talk with the Builder in detail about the concerns.
I might have overlooked all this structural problems, if i wouldn’t chosen Engineering inspection. Wrote my overall experience because it might help first time home buyers to rethink about the structural problems, we might need to care for!
Thanks alot Mr. Mathew and RSH Engineering team, looking forward for Final inspection & future connectivity!
I hired Mathew and RSH Engineering to handle phased inspections for my house build. Mathew was awesome. For every scheduled visit, he spent ample time documenting all issues and concerns and made sure I had the ammo I needed to go back to my builder to insist on changes and repairs. A new home is a huge financial undertaking and if you want to sleep soundly after closing, you want to know you did everything you could to ensure it was constructed properly. Mathew and his team gave me that peace of mind. I am 100% satisfied with the experience and highly recommend them if you're in the market for an engineer to guide you through construction of a home.
Matthew with RSH Engineering is amazing and very easy to work with. He has done 2 commercial building inspections for me. His reports are very insightful and detailed. Thank you RSH Engineering
We have used RSH Engineering twice, in 2002 and 2020. BOTH times they were able to point out serious issues that the builder overlooked and both times their findings saved us thousands of dollars. Both builders responded to their findings and made the repairs. Don't let that End of Builder Warranty expire without calling these guys first. You'll be glad you did! TWO THUMBS UP!
