Russell Creek Park reviews
15I definitely didn’t realize what a hidden gem this park is. It’s massive and I usually only see the practice fields but it has an amazing lake, beach volleyball court and a great playground!
More 6 cricket grounds in the space, very open and wide spaces all around, good for walking / running as well.
This park is very peaceful and best place to bring kids along with you for having a nice time with family.
Russell Creek Park is a small yet beautiful park. The park features a lovely pond surrounded by a walking trail, making it the perfect spot for a leisurely stroll. The playgrounds available for kids are well-maintained and offer a variety of activities for children to enjoy.
One of the best things about Russell Creek Park is the ample parking space available. This makes it easy for visitors to come and go without worrying about finding a spot to park their cars. Huge football basketball and cricket grounds. I love going for a walk every day.
If you're in the Plano area, be sure to check it out!
Clean, quiet, and peaceful park. We love to come for walks or take our bikes around the pond. Lots of ducks and turtles to watch too. Plenty of benches along the path and picnic tables.
My 5 star review is only for the new playground area. I think it was completed in the fall of 2022. We went yesterday (March 2023) and it's beautiful. Nice playground with two play structures that have many slides, swings, restrooms, drinking foundations, and a very large pavilion. There's a lake with ducks near the pavilion.
Very clean and well kept park. Watch out for chiggers near the water. We didn't catch any fish, only a couple of turtles.
It is a very beautiful and bio park for the community with a lot of activities for all individuals
Fantastic park with large open area. This park has trails, a pond, play area, volleyball and basketball courts, and plenty of parking.
Beautiful park with a beautiful small lake, several soccer fields and a few basketball courts, it even has a couple of beach volleyball courts, among several other outdoor activities to do there. Highly recommended
Safe and mice fields, good maintenance by City Of Plano. Different activities. Nice in mornings, safe after sunsets.
Beautiful and large park. Pond is great to walk around and watch the wildlife. Very peaceful. There’s also multiple sports fields and playground
I like that this park is always very safe, because it is in an excellent location, between houses, schools and a fire station, it has several fields for different sports, large green areas for families and large parking lots with access for people with disabilities.disability, several bathrooms and a well-stocked cafeteria with great attention. In short, this complex is excellent
Big Plano recreation area, all sports, and a small lake to stroll around and check on my first wife's memorial tree.
Good place to walk. Lots of places to sit. I do my walks here and look at the nice spots here
